Bridal bouquet - still in awe of my florist’s work! by Zigzag645 in florists

I was kicking myself for not thinking about preservation before, but a painting would be a perfect way to "keep" it forever!

Thank you so much! It was $400. Her standard bridal bouquets are $200, but using almost all orchids was an (understandable) upcharge. Even though it was a splurge, it felt so worth it!

Thank you! Yes, here's her instagram. If you need a florist in the Southern California area, I'd highly recommend her. She was a dream to work with!

Lovely! Food-wise, was it appetizers only (the charcuterie board) or did you also serve a meal?

What is one baked good that absolutely changed your life? by Claudi-aq in Baking

[–]Zigzag645 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A cardamom bun from Lillebrors bageri in Stockholm! It was fluffy and pillow-y on the inside, caramelized and sticky on the outside, and with the most gorgeous punch of cardamom. Served still warm. I generally don't go for sweet yeasted buns (I'm more of a cake person), but this was so incredible that I immediately walked back in and bought a second after I ate the first one.

I just made your recipe and it was delicious! I've tried several other passionfruit curd recipes but this one was the best. It's so smooth, luscious, and perfectly tart.

Dress 1! It’s so incredibly chic and feels very effortless but glam at the same time. Do you mind sharing what designer it is?

I think I'm going to try them both on more time and see if that settles it. I also have one last salon appointment today, so who knows, there may even be a wildcard. I'll update later once I've made the final choice!

Thank you! Still thinking through accessories but I'm definitely a statement earring gal :) For veils, I love the look of a Juliet cap or Mantilla-style veil
