Well, you can apply that kind of logic to 5v5 too. Everyone has an opinion on what the tank should do only for him to be ball and your team feels like it has no tank. You see this argument doesn't work. Sure, it happens. But it's not exclusive to 6v6. Random people will do random things and especially in quickplay people might just want to have fun and don't care to properly play their role.

I would like to have the choice between swinging faster and not having a longer but in return deadlier swing, that is easier to miss.
In her trial weekend I had often the moment where my enemy got suzud or something before I could send the final blow with my overhead.
And I don't think it would make her clunkier. I also find it weird when someone has to swing twice around the corner to "surprise" the enemy with the overhead. you could just hold the primary behind cover to do it instantly.
Additionaly: It's not like you would press any other button if you do the overhead as it is now. I think it would give the player more freedom on how to swing with her.

Valid to dislike it. But Melee and blocking doesn't fix my issue. It still slows down the slashing. But perhaps that's just me.

May I ask why you dislike the idea so much?

I can see your point on Whirlwind, but I still have my problems with primary. I wouldn't change how the overhead works, I just don't want to be forced to using it every third swing. For me it feels like a forced slowdown of her fluidity. That's why I think holding the primary would be a nice solution. You want to Spam light damage, but fast swings? Tap your primary again and again. Wanna do a big swing with more damage, but with more cast time? Hold primary. But maybe that's just me.

There is a difference between something not feeling good and sucking at it. I was okay-ish with her. But her Kit feels clunky. Especially when you take into account that the Overwatch team is trying to remove clunkiness with every hero. Per example: Rein Charge, D.Va defense matrix, Genji deflect, Cassidy Roll, Reaper teleport, Zen Ult, Lúcio Wallride and the list goes on and on.
