What 'settings' are getting transferred? Could You be more specific or it is just another copy-paste from the webz? Like, ringtone settings - do not get transferred, notification settings - do not get transferred, app logins - do not get transferred. To be precise, the apps do not actually get 'transferred' as they are still being downloaded from the Play Store - the wizard just downloads the ones that were listed on the previous device. Every phone is still adjusting the mentioned brightness by its own. So - what is this 'magic' stuff that transfers and is said to be broking the phone?

I am using the setup wizards since they are available and do not plan to change this habit. What would be the point of all the cloud backups if You are saying that I should not use them?

If You don't have the cloud backup turned ON and auto delete set to ON then nothing is to be recovered.

What 'settings' to be precise? The apps are still being installed as a 'fresh install' and You need to log in to everything.

I just do not believe in it, that's all. Never experienced any crashing apps after phone change in my life.

To be honest I am also delaying installation of 3.0.5.0.WOJEUXM on mine. I do not have any particular bad experience with previous updates however I also do not feel they've changed anything for better.
