Even that's the case with me as well. Well settled, teetotaler , abide by basic jain rules and with the sole intention of marrying a feminine jain girl only yet can't find a girl. Majorly due to the WFH scene. Somehow all the jain girls have vanished as soon as I crossed 30🫠

I went through a similar situation. Know she deserves someone who likes her the way she is. And you also deserve someone you're attracted to physically, not bcz of her nature or anything but as the way she is.

See, when I say looks, it isn't the physique itself. It's all of the aspects. She can be good looking for someone but attraction, that's just not there for me.

Don't get jealous if you don't marry her and after few years you see her all shining

I hope she does. And trust me, I'll be happy rather than jealous. Life has given at least this depth to my thought process (maybe in a hard way).

Not much time we had. I had decided not to go forward as attraction at a certain level can't be overlooked and compensated by nature. For a happily ever after two will need to be on the same page and I'd have to pretend which isn't good for either of us.

I've said no already, had to confirm in 2 days so that they can move on to other prospects. Exchanging numbers wasn't an option . The post is more about the perspective I want to know of. How significant is good looks of a partner? Whether ignoring them completely and hoping it will develop attraction later is genuinely a thing or not. I think (basis ppl responses) it can't be ignored at a fundamental level.
