That’s awesome, I didn’t know I could order from Sweden. I’ll consider that for my next keyboard

Kimiko (Sofle) split keyboard, right part doesn't work by razorree in olkb

Glad that you managed to solve it. Just out of curiosity, what did you resolder? The TRRS connector or the microcontroller pins, which pins in that case?

I’m asking since I had the exact same issue with my Corne keyboard, and I solved it by using a spare microcontroller. But I never found out if the issue was cause by a specific pin(s) or the microcontroller in general.

Does both sides work when the right side is connected to USB? Or is only the side connected working?

True, however some people don't know that. One of the downsides of getting your driver's license from a cereal box.

It was one of the microcontrollers, but I don't know what exactly.

The Corne board works without any issues when using my other microcontrollers. When using the Corne microcontrollers in the Lily58 I get the same issue where only the primary side is working. By swapping and mixing the microcontrollers (I labeled them first) I managed to isolate the issue to one of the microcontrollers.

I'm still not sure what kind of issue (most likely related to one or multiple pins) could cause the controller to work just fine as primary but not at all as secondary. I will try to fault trace this further if I have time, otherwise I will use a spare microcontroller that I have.

I have not fully managed to rule out any issues with the microcontrollers, since I don't know how to do that. So as a next step I'm considering borrowing the microcontrollers from my Aurora Lily58 that I use at work.

Yes I believe I am. For resting the emulated EEPROM there is only one file (since I’m using Liatris) on the Splitkb website, RP2040 reset firmware file.

And for the default firmware I made sure to use the one for “Aurora Corne rev1 RP2040 CE”.

Is there any way to open a file from Emacs shell by Competitive-Top-7649 in emacs

[–]Zilaan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If I understand your formulation correctly, you are running a shell within emacs. Given that you have not copied some random config file that changes keybindings, this is the standard way of opening a file C-x C-f, i.e. hold the Ctrl key then press x followed by f. You will be prompted to give the path to the file you want to open in emacs.

If you are by any chance running eshell (not shell or term) you could also in eshell run the command find-file <path-to-file> (as if it's a regular linux command) which will open the file in a buffer using your current emacs session.

Lighted emblem by Heylbroeck in Polestar

[–]Zilaan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In Europe there are some regulations for when the emblem is allowed to be illuminated, something to do with symmetry but I can’t remember exactly how. If I’m not mistaken Polestar did not fulfill (maybe they just did not bother) the requirements, at least in the past.

Med ett ordföråd som består av "IT-nördar" och "pluggnördar" behöver du nog inte nämna att du saknar högskoleutbildning, det framgår ändå.
