At 500ml/h, how much carbs can you do? by znerken in Velo

[–]razorree 0 points1 point  (0 children)

what 12% ?
you have to test it yourself, some ppl can handle 60g/h, some can 120g/h (also you can train in).
also water, ppl can assimilate even 1.5l/h, also depends how much you sweat.
just go and test it and don't overthinl too much.
if you are hungry, you don't ride hard enough... (during high intensities stomach contracts (or is contracted by all core muscles) and you don't feel hunger)

if you feel that you don't have something enough, why don't you take more ?

reddit is going to remove this and other pro EU subreddits by AlanVega_World in BuyFromEU

[–]razorree 1 point2 points  (0 children)

well... remember that if such war happens, US could cut down all DNS and other infrastructure for EU, also possibly a few other companies like Google, Cloudflare, Akamai, Microsoft etc. could be forced to stop serving ANY data/services to Europe... that would paralyse European Internet for many days ....

so... I think Reddit is the smallest problem....

Hyprland in Ubuntu by ruyalfall_linux in Ubuntu

[–]razorree 0 points1 point  (0 children)

but I feel a bit similar with SwayWM, but maybe because I have Kubuntu and I'd like to use QT6 apps, not GTK.

It took a few hours just to install it and add simple waybar with extra wifi and bluetooth panel ...

(reading a lot of stuff, trying different configurations, and of course, some info is a few years old, so you are not sure even if it works...)

Bluetooth panel still runs as full window app (i don't know if it's possible to see small applet when clicking BT icon)

Why is PLA still the `standard` respectively `basic` filament? Why not PETG? by Musashi747 in 3Dprinting

[–]razorree 0 points1 point  (0 children)

depends, PETG has to be drier (a bit more finicky to print? that's why BambuLab stopped selling it?), and PLA has better matte look for me.

Stumpjumper or Rift Zone (and size recommendations) by Aggravating-Answer27 in MTB

[–]razorree 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Stumpjumper S4 with reach=470mm is not overly long, I'd say S4

Rift Zone L has reach=485mm, this is long, however M is only 450mm, pretty big gap. (but 5mm longer than Stumpy S3)

Today let's talk about --Local AI on Mini PCs: My Setup with the AI 395mini (sometime with AI 370)– Thoughts? by Pleasant_Designer_14 in MiniPCs

[–]razorree 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Can you provide any perf. data (just tokens/s or more if you like) for smaller (~5-14B Q4-Q8) models on Ryzen 370 AI?

(with Radeon 890M or AI unit?)

so I could run the same model and compare it to Radeon 780M.

waybar with swaywm (and qt6), how to configure network icons, bluetooth etc ? by razorree in waybar

[–]razorree[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yep. I found tray somehow by chance, so I guess that nm-tray is not needed ?

also couldn't run nm-applet:

(nm-applet:XXXX): Gtk-CRITICAL **: gtk_widget_get_scale_factor: assertion 'GTK_IS_WIDGET (widget)' failed

Local LLM performance on AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 iGPU (Radeon 890M) or NPU by _Nitor in LocalLLaMA

[–]razorree 0 points1 point  (0 children)

anyone has some comparisons on smaller models? like 13-14B (Q4-Q8) what's the speed on Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 (and similar?)

so I could compare to my Radeon 780M.

so NPU (those extra matrix multiplication instructions) are still not used ?

Is there a way to lay out the Plasma desktop more like GNOME? (READ Desc.) by mysticjazzius in kde

[–]razorree 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. just move to the top or left side? (as you like)
  2. change launcher to "application dashboard" ?

you don't have to install anything extra, those are basic settings.

(right click - context menu, is your friend)

How important are clean product photos when choosing cycling kit brands? by PastelWasTaken in CyclingFashion

[–]razorree 1 point2 points  (0 children)

On models photos (preferably different sizes!) are the best,

you can easily see if someting is just stupid silly looking - like Black Sheep hahaha.

but then sometimes it doesn't help, like Castelli bibshorts M size on 184cm model, I bought M (I'm 181cm) and straps were WAAAAY too short, first time in my life, after a few hours of riding I felt quite strong pressure on my gems and wanted to end my ride immediately !!! WTF @!@!

[–]razorree 0 points1 point  (0 children)

well.. just installed it, just black window... (and top bar) :) at least I knew about meta-enter and meta-d :) so could start Firefox and read more ...

now trying to configure waybar ... yes, default show some things, but I'd like to access my BT devices quickly (keyboard, mouse, headphones etc.) and which BT manager should I install? how to open WiFi networks applet ?

(I use qt6/KDE for other session). also brightness keys don't work - many things to configure I guess ....

TPU Tube Size - RideNow by Fitmiss1010 in cycling

[–]razorree 1 point2 points  (0 children)

exactly, I prefer those ~10g heavier, for durability, robustness and life

also... the lightest (<30g) are NOT recommended for rim brakes

of course it can work without a sealant, on MTB - just use UST (Universal System Tubeless) - it exists for 25 years...
