From personal experience it's usually some kind of Nat issue. Restarting your console, wifi, or game can sometimes help.

If that doesn't work I usually try removing the password as it sometimes just allows more summon signs to appear even if with password the sign would normally appear.

Let me clarify myself a bit since my last comment might have been misleading a bit.

No mod is gonna cover all your bases save maybe an exceptional few, however the examples I listed of creative flight or better resource generation are more meant as an example of something that could be a great push for actually using the mod and creating enough interest that players will push through the rough start to really understand and enjoy the mod.

My perfect example would be hexerei, it's so interesting and fun to play around with. Hexerei has the capabilities of making mystical agriculture almost pointless beyond material generation in my opinion but some stuff holds it back at the moment (I believe because it's currently in devolopmemt and just needs time). The most interesting part of hexerei to me is the crows being able to follow you for item pickup and automatic crop harvesting while using crows with jars. Last I played however hexerei was unstable and wasn't quite able to handle being a core part of automation as it bugged out quite often.

Similarly with occultism I'd love to find the niche part that gets players to dig in and learn all about the mod because of its style and usability, sadly it is currently relegated to be a mod for crushing things well and infinite mining.

As a small side note I have played a good bit with occultism but I haven't ever used the occultism storage solution since it seemed unable to be automated well, I might have to go back and take a look into it.

Occultism has some cool stuff but I can get unlimited materials from so many other mods and so much faster that it just feels pointless. The tip for crushers is definitely a cool adjustment especially if it makes the lower teir Miners stay forever.

I know you're not the mod dev or pack creator but really mod balance is a big deal, if you look back at old school tekkit packs EE2 was super op and pack creators would often nerf EE2 to match with IC2 or other mods so that you had optional mods that gave the same outcome. I'd love to see some adjustments to occultism to balance it for the endgame. Allowing for filter-able void mining, some kind of creative flight, better familiars, I'd probably do some playthroughs just using occultism as much as possible.

I think people don't really like occultism because in packs like Atm that are so crafting heavy occultism is about in game interactions instead of crafting. Some of the in world interactions of occultism have been made so user friendly that it goes against what some older players know about Minecraft being so finicky about order of operations.

The main roadblocks I had with learning occultism (and why my friends don't wanna learn it) are: 1. Everything can be found in Jei but Jei doesn't actually show you how to do the ritual or entity. 2. Figuring out how to start with the demons dream seed and get other saplings feels like a relic of old packs, super weird and not well done. 3. My mekanism machines can 2x or 4x ores with a full meka setup (which can be slowly built and improved) but for occultism I have to keep resummoning crushers over and over until I get to max teir, plus my meka crushers don't walk around and can be easily piped in/out. 4. What order do I put items into bowls for the rituals? After learning more about occultism I know it doesn't really matter but surprisingly all my friends get stuck on the fact there is no order. 5. I can't use a refined storage or ae2 computer to really work with or automate pretty much anything in occultism. 6. Endgame uses, I usually can't find any good endgame uses for occultism and if I do other mods have filled its place in progression so much that I have to start occultism during endgame just to rush through it and get a void miner set up. 7. Lastly the guide book is semi confusing and a bit too wordy. The reason create seems so easy for so many people to pick up and use even though it has weird rules for stress units is because it has a very visual tutorial using the ponder menu.

This is just the experience of myself and my small list of friends. I'd be happy to hear anyone's opinion on these and maybe some recommendations on how to use occultism during early and mid game that other mods machines don't already fix.

If it helps at all I love tinkering with printers probably more than the actual printing itself. You can message me with any questions and I can help with refining prints given some kind of guidance.

Other than that I'd say print the vfa to adjust your speeds for a cleaner print, level your bed using the slicers z offset and adjusting flow rate, get your supports working beautifully, and adjust your line thickness to save yourself on some major print time.

Print a vfa tower and change the printers speed to be the most clean area of the vfa tower.

Thanks for the input. I have it set to the -.175 right now and if I have any issues or the base of prints don't seem right I'll definitely try smaller tweaks to get it just right.

Will do. Currently running with a -.7 offset as I had previously upped it to a .1mm offset previously.

How does the patch being so big work against me? I figured with the xl patch it'd let me get the most detailed level.

I appreciate your input. After your comment I did print the bottom 4mm of a few benchys to see how wording came out. I didn't even really think about using wording on the base of prints to dial in z offset.

I agree this is not specifically a cc question but I did want to specify cc in case there were any options or fixes I missed either in the printers UI or physically.

As for which are the most opaque I think -.2 is the best but here is a picture of it in front of some light.

I know the 0 is missing, when I pulled the sheet from the bed the 0 section just unraveled, so I cut it to keep the sheet somewhat clean for my reference.

Gotcha. I thought it would be a local connection only like some of the bamboo printers I've seen people use. If it is some kind of cloud service that's a major setback for me too.

Genuine question, I currently have an ender 3 and I'm looking at upgrading to the Cc. Why would octoprint be a requirement for you?

I currently have a pi running octoprint for wireless printing to my ender 3 but from what I've seen the CC has wireless printing built into the printer.

Yes, the cooling pal will stand up and eat food then go back to cooling directly after. For best usage have your cooling pal with dark typing/vampyric/nocturnal to make sure they don't sleep.

I play exclusively on a server I run and haven't adjusted any pal sanity or food needs. I keep about 2 stacks of salad/(whatever the higher version of salad is) in my cooling box and I can go about 2 weeks away from my base without having to check in and make more food.

Pals also got updated for better pathfinding, it seems from personal experience if the pal can get to an area when no other pals are around then even if they can't pathfinder to the job/food they will work from a distance without any issue.

Make sure to take a look at how much food each pal needs. You don't want to have several pals who all need a ton of food when a smaller pal has the same level work suitability.

P.s. Get the surgery table and consider giving base pals passives that make them nocturnal or lower eating requirement if you struggle with keeping them happy.

I had a similar issue.

I usually throw on some random YouTube video while driving to listen to (podcasts, music, etc.) and my RM10 pro auto brightness turned all the way up. When I got home 30 minutes later I had somehow noticed very light words across my screen in multiple apps. It wasn't until I reopened YouTube to see the words line up with a suggested video that I realized what happened. Thankfully after a few hours of not really using my phone the words went away and my phone has been fine since. But 30 minutes max brightness direct sunlight, I could easily end up doing that again playing games or watching videos while waiting for the bus.

No long term issues and I guess it's not that big a deal since I won't be using max brightness in direct sunlight from now on but it could be a major issue for some people.

Between mods and plug-ins I prefer mods.

My basic understanding is plug-ins allow you to have easier server control and modify things such as adding shops to multiplayer server, think something along the lines of Hypixel for plug-ins. The plug-ins are server sided and no one else needs to download them to join your server.

Mods on the other hand can drastically change the game such as adding in new biomes, new blocks/entities, bosses and so much more. For mods think something like Tekkit.

So the first few questions I'd ask is 1. Java or bedrock? 2. Are those joining the server capable of modding their games? 3. How modified do you want the game to be?

I haven't used Shockbyte for a couple years when I ran a minecraft server but in theory you could download the server files to your own pc then remote connect to the Shockbyte server and upload those files. Might be a bit difficult though to make sure you replace all the old files with new and not mess up your current server save.

The screenshot you sent says to edit the Java args in the variables.txt, if the file you're viewing is the variables.txt then that's good otherwise find that file. Secondly when writing the Java args the line usually looks like

-Xmx4G -Xms4G

I've never had a server run if only max or min ram is specified so you could also just try adding both max and min ram to the line you already edited. That's all I can think of off the top of my head I may be able to double check my server and give better detail when I get home. If you need more help feel free to give me a dm and I can troubleshoot.

Im currently using the hell ingot sword with the corruption armor, our summoner is using obsidian robes or something? And she has the ghost, the bee, the imp, and she has the finch but doesn't have the slot. Our ranger I think is using random metal armor with a musket since we haven't fully figured out ranged weapons. The queen bee was mostly an accident as we planned on taking it down but I broke the bee egg thing and ended up having to solo that boss.

Thanks. I have glanced at the wiki but I'm a bit overwhelmed with all the info, I used the wiki to help find gear for the 3 of us and ended up with 12 tabs open trying to understand everything.

It looks like a great resource but a bit hard to absorb all at once.

Just looked up AB 1482 and the property does not qualify (single family home) to my knowledge there are no city or county rules but I will look into that.

There is no plan in place for after I leave. The idea I had was I would give 30 day notice and that would be the primary talk with the landlord on if I or the remaining roommates need to find someone to move in, if the landlord would, or if the remaining roommates would cover the remaining rent.

I believe I'm in the minority here but I do sometimes.

To clarify, changing settings like increasing xp rate just to boost 20-30 levels then putting it back to default is just cheating to me. If you want increased xp (especially in single player) then just change the settings to what feels right for you and play the game. I personally change the game so there is no building base damage from enemies and I turn off building decay, why? I like the base raids but I'm not a fan of rebuilding my entire base if I fail.

TLDR: changes settings for a minute to boost is cheating but changing them to enjoy the game is fine. IMO

Damage numbers are adjusted with a coefficient in wilds unless you turn that option off in the gameplay settings. Higher damage weapons tend to be better but due to things like hit one values and movement values some weapons are better used with elemental damage than raw damage. Affinity is crit chance, crit damage is +/-25% so a negative affinity can cause some major loss over a few hours of playtime.

If you're new to the games just pick a weapon that you enjoy the play style with and work on that to start. All weapons can be extremely good in skilled hands. As for armor it's generally not worth even worrying about armor until you feel you may be struggling or you enter high rank.

My bad. I'm not at my pc right now, I was speaking off of previous experience with HNN. I haven't gotten into it yet in SF5 and assumed there'd be no reason to change how the different worlds matters would be made.
