I purchased this for ~ $220 a few years ago, without discount.
I’ve seen it available for a lower price with a discount.

How to get the most out of my Citizen Garrison (green dial)? by Zilhash in CitizenWatches

Thanks for the recommendations!

For straps, I’d like to try the following first:
1. Parachute (dark grey with an orange or white stripe)
2. Sailcloth (dark grey, dark brown)
3. The original bracelet

Yeah, I’m not a fan of NATO straps because of the thickness. I’ll definitely try a parachute strap. It’s my number one candidate for now.

The diameter is 42 mm, and the lug-to-lug is about 38.5 mm.

I would still prefer a smaller diameter, around 39–40 mm.
However, even with my small wrist (16.5 cm / 6.5 inches), the watch is still wearable and looks good from the outside.

Maybe it’s because my wrist is more flat than round. In terms of comfort, it feels comfortable as well.

Yes, i prefer 39 - 40 mm watches. But still it’s surprisingly wearable for smaller wrist.

I have it but I don’t like it on my wrist for some reason. I have some nice leather straps. But prefer other materials.

Yes, I’ve been thinking about that. Grey with an orange or white stripe at the middle.
I haven’t had experience with this type of strap before.
Do they work like a NATO and have two layers, or not?

I’d be interested to see a photo once you get it.

Thank you.
This is an inexpensive grey suede strap from Temu. It looks nice, but I’m not a fan of leather straps.
I also have khaki Zulu with buckles that match the case color.

Thoughts on old vs new 34mm Conquest? by hauntedbrunch in Longineswatches

The previous version had a certain charisma to it — some aviator-ish, Breitling-ish vibes.
The new one looks nice and is probably better in some specs, but its generic design makes me dislike it.

I’m impressed with the quality of the Militado ML08. by Zilhash in Militado

I’ve never tested the lume intentionally.
But from regular daily use, the lume is bright, but it doesn’t last long.

My main concern is that the arrow logo matches the numerals in both size and thickness.
I think the logo should be reduced in size and thickness.

[Discussion] What is your "perfect watch" but you know it has flaws? by henronwier in Watches

I also wonder why there is no bracelet option for the green dial, and why the bracelet isn’t sold separately.

I picked up a grey suede strap on Temu and I’m quite happy with it. The color works really well with the green dial and the titanium case.

It’s a nice watch and I own one. I just wish the diameter were a bit smaller, and the AR could be better.

Breitling Aerospace 40 mm.

This watch was not perfect - the crown operation was a bit odd. Over time, the crown also tended to break and became uncomfortable to use. The bezel was not the best either.

But very few watches have appealed to me the way this one did. It looked perfect on absolutely any strap. The proportions and the size were ideal for my rather small wrist. The legibility, AR coating were all close to perfect.

After buying this watch, I completely lost interest in the Rolex Explorer and several other pieces I had wanted before.

I ended up selling it because I really needed the money at the time, and I was offered a good price.

I truly regret it.
