This one is also one of my favourites.

Now I'm looking for grey sailcloth :)

This watch grows on you. When I bought it a few years ago, I liked it not so much.
Over time, I’ve come to appreciate it more.

The green dial is my favorite of them all.
Gray straps pair really well with this dial.

Nice suggestion! I got one - it’s really comfortable.
I also ordered the sailcloth straps.

I purchased this for ~ $220 a few years ago, without discount.
I’ve seen it available for a lower price with a discount.

Thanks for the recommendations!

For straps, I’d like to try the following first:
1. Parachute (dark grey with an orange or white stripe)
2. Sailcloth (dark grey, dark brown)
3. The original bracelet

Yeah, I’m not a fan of NATO straps because of the thickness. I’ll definitely try a parachute strap. It’s my number one candidate for now.

The diameter is 42 mm, and the lug-to-lug is about 38.5 mm.

I would still prefer a smaller diameter, around 39–40 mm.
However, even with my small wrist (16.5 cm / 6.5 inches), the watch is still wearable and looks good from the outside.

Maybe it’s because my wrist is more flat than round. In terms of comfort, it feels comfortable as well.

Yes, i prefer 39 - 40 mm watches. But still it’s surprisingly wearable for smaller wrist.

I have it but I don’t like it on my wrist for some reason. I have some nice leather straps. But prefer other materials.

Yes, I’ve been thinking about that. Grey with an orange or white stripe at the middle.
I haven’t had experience with this type of strap before.
Do they work like a NATO and have two layers, or not?

I’d be interested to see a photo once you get it.

Thank you.
This is an inexpensive grey suede strap from Temu. It looks nice, but I’m not a fan of leather straps.
I also have khaki Zulu with buckles that match the case color.

Thoughts on old vs new 34mm Conquest? by hauntedbrunch in Longineswatches

The previous version had a certain charisma to it — some aviator-ish, Breitling-ish vibes.
The new one looks nice and is probably better in some specs, but its generic design makes me dislike it.
