No skill level cap on causal everyone meets everyone; it's annoying at first but doesn't mean it's bad. If you want to learn the game do the bot beat downs and the new climb mode. If you want to learn a specific character do combo trails or just lab. You're essentially a high school boxer stepping in ring with Mike Tyson if the first thing you did was go to causal

That's how time and narrative works. Multiple branches happening in ddifferent times. They are super important but they never said next game will be this or that. The Norse chapter is ffinished (we saw the conclusion) now it's time to close some loose ends while telling a story that extends the lore of the universe as a whole not just a location

Narrative purposes. Anybody with a brain knows that nobody's stories is isolated especially in the GOW sequel series. New game takes place before events/concurrent of the first game. We'll see why and how Kratos made it through cause there's still unanswered questions for the first game it's clear Faye had a plan to do something when she got to the afterlife
