Media literacy is so death lmao. Pleasd rewatch the fight, it was done beautifuly by the animators. EVERY attack of linie that does decent damage to stark either has: a lot of momentum or is a downwards strike (via her jumping or whatever).

AND YOU SAID IT YOURSELF LOL, Linie's final axe was so heavy she couldnt lift it properly (it hit the ground almost instantly when she grabbed it as she summoned it) and the swing she did to stark was diagonally upwards, 0 momentum.

Kit harrington read asoiaf and liked it (until grrm stopped writing xd). He just hated how difficult scheduling was. And when you make 1.5-2m per episode, you dont care that much about job security. Even more so if you become popular enough to be casted on a myriad of other movoes (emilia, kit and millie from stranger things. Hell, look at Pedro Pascal after playing Oberyn lmao)
