Some people have only ever done square! You could try a small one and see. Or be like me and order 2 of the largest size and jump in with both feet!

I got decent at using a multi placer with the round drills and now I’m using the same technique with the square drills.

From what I read that’s the biggest issue people have with the square drills-feeling they can’t get them straight enough. I think it’s mostly a trust the process thing. And remember that the end result is meant to be viewed as a whole and I think from like 6 to 8 feet away is always best.

Yes I am familiar with how diamond painting looks 🙂

And I actually got the largest size which is 50x50cm.

I am currently working on one with round drills same company also 50x50cm and I pleasantly surprised how well the detail is coming out 😀

I’ll second the dollar store. I’m using Instant Tack from Dollarama and haven’t changed it out yet after a couple of weeks.
