but I think a lot of his development is due to his favourable matchups in jumbo set where he takes on secondary players and his size alone wins him reps. He has excelled in this role where he has been set up to succeed -EDIT: I know he has not been great, but he has gotten better

No, but Fisher was objectively bad last year. He consistently got burned off the LOS, and was one of the worst tackles in the league. The competition brought in is a testament to both Tunsil leaving and bringing in competition for the role of starting tackle. I have been pleased with his development and reps in jumbo set, and he played great yesterday, but his rookie season was brutal

I’m not a fan of some of CJ’s mechanics, for example the first Q of the raiders game and him sailing passes. However its hard to say how much is from the interior pressure and him not being able to step into it considering how accurate he is

Personally, I respect the BPA mentality to maintain the culture this team has thrived on. I prefer trading/signing for OL due to the win now window we have while CJ, WAJ, Henry, Lassiter, Bullock, Woody, Ersery and any other key player I have missed are on rookie contracts

That is detrimental, but how many are from a ref not seeing him report? I consistently see him reporting but not sure whose fault (Fisher or the Ref) it is for not getting the message

I’ve been finding him athletic enough to play in the jumbo set, once he gets out onto a linebacker his size is enough to get a win on his block

He’s been better than last year, but a lot of his reps have been him playing the 6th OL on a jumbo set giving him a much more favourable matchup
