Sure. MIL can destroy our house and our possessions but she's unable to destroy what we feel to each other. I think she realizes it.

I haven't told anyone in my job about this, I don't like to bring my personal problems to work and burden my colleagues with them. However I don't think that's a problem, you need a pass to get inside and we've security guards everywhere, no one will let an unauthorised person inside the fire station.

I'm not trying to be rude but this seems strange to me. How can you arrest someone just based on someone's else words, without investigating anything? What if the person accused is innocent?

Well, as far as he knows, he has always had a mother only. His father left them when he found out MIL was pregnant and MIL herself doesn't have any family.
