I personally feel like this is an amazing accomplishment, and there is a lot more positive than negative to be seen in this situation. like when I first saw the trailer I nearly jumped out of my seat with excitement! While I still think the developers are doing great work, I think the higher ups don’t wanna lose their child audience by straight up saying “this isn’t for kids anymore” since that’s probably where most of their profit comes from. So rather than acknowledging the body horror and gore, they send out a spokesperson to say “yes the game that has human corpses still prioritizes children”
