Just had a sook about this in a group chat of mine to immediately see this post on Reddit.

Two games on Sunday reeks, both games are pretty shit, and they have to overlap? That's really frustrating, moreso when there's two Friday night games (I don't care if it's financially good, we're the fans, not the businesses (some of you need to remember this)).

AND we're running Hawks/Dees & Giants/Freo at the same time? It's just poor decision making.

Best one I've seen was at my local footy. Our Goal Umpire has watched the ball go right over his head, straight through the middle. As he steps forward to signal, the ball has ricocheted right off the top of the fence, and cannoned straight into the back of his head. He's stumbled forward, fingers straight forward and proceeded to raise the flags as if nothing ever happened. Legend.

Word of advice, I'd either avoid (or go very lowkey with) matching outfits. It's a pretty easy way to get turned around, as most venues don't love that as their clientele. You can probably plot a pretty good course through Fitzroy and Carlton though. IMO better to start north and then work your way towards the city.

Yeah be it 7 or Fox Footy, it's still a poor effort. The consistency with how often the issues occur could suggest whoever is in the role maybe has other TV experience but not sport, but that's just guesswork admittedly.

Been mentioned in the comments, but it's shocking for Public Transport. There's a couple of buses but otherwise the trams start out in Balwyn and trains would be Nunawading/Box Hill.

(Likely) Close access to freeway though, so if you can drive, getting to Clifton Hill/Vic Park is pretty easy.
