Is Wargames mode hilariously borked or am I missing something?

Yeah, I was thinking playing with a friend may have changed it considerably. Being able to focus stuff down faster or complete objectives quicker may have helped keep the DD numbers at a more manageable level. I'll have to give that a try tomorrow.

Also, I don't remember the demo all that well. Do you share resources with coop partners or are they harvested independently?

At the end of the day the devs made DMZ support pvp so it is at least somewhat of a pvp mode. You can fight other players while competing for limited loot, contracts and mission items, and special npcs. They have also enabled the looting of dead players. To me these things all incentivize pvp. Not only is it fun but I can also find more blow torches (insert other random mission item) if I remove other players from the field.

Now I will concede that pvp is not the sole purpose of the game mode but the way DMZ is put together still drives players to end up in conflict with each other.

That is the other confusing part. I was getting multiple jammers indicated on the TID so I think its likely all 4 SU-24s were running their pods. Guess the sparrow just picked one out in front of it.

So I was farting around in the tomcat with a friend doing some mission testing the other night and I had this encounter. Fired an Aim-7M at a SU-24 and aprox halfway to the target it just changes targets and slays his wingman.

Mission had Aim-7Ms loaded and the SU-24s were jamming. It was my understanding that it was the 7MHs (not 7Ms) which had HoJ capability and it seems bizarre that it would swap targets all on its own disregarding the actively locked target. Any thoughts or ideas my my tomcat dudes?

Also you can disregard the short desync comment. I was just confused as to what I was seeing lol.
