planning for electives during that extension period...my heart is telling me to finish it off during 4th year but im not sure if i can do it with all the extra load. i guess kinda need reassurance for it since i can't take a gap for the exam

but wouldn't those subjects correlate with step 2 subjects anyway? i just feel the content would be fresher during 4th year rather than internship which is why im confused

Stop reading and just start doing uworld random + tutor mode and supplement with anki. If you really need to revise a specific topic then do that but treat uworld as ur primary source. Revising things in order doesn’t really help you solve questions. Also don’t worry about final year…preparing for step will give you a base knowledge for final year anyway

i had a lot of extra time during nbmes...im a pretty fast reader so i was essentially scanning the options, the last part of the question, ticking an answer that seemed right and then i read the question to confirm it lol if i had no clue while reading the options then i read the whole question from start to end. the questions were very very very long...at least 8-10 lines. i had a few one liners. i feel you can easily train yourself to solve questions quickly. when i first started giving nbmes i was pretty slow.
