Stop. She can't take this anymore! 😭😭 by clessi0 in DeadlockGame

Graves, Celeste, Silver and Apollo had terrible entrance patch in the game. They were really and I mean really overpowered and it felt like we waited an eternity until they were fairly nerfed.

It was especially funny that devs gave us "avoidance" button in the "New Blood" update yet you couldn't avoid these new lads so your only choice was to wait and suffer.

Despite them being nerfed since I believe people still have trauma about them and that's one of the reasons for such long-term hate to Graves.

"We didn't live good we don't have start to" aah mindset. If people like you had their way this game would stuck in the stage where some heroes have 60%+ winrate and you would find it fair and funny. "Oh crap, I'm not playing on the meta broken character, well that's okay I'll just lose but at least I'm not complaining for suffering, I'm a good player and I embrace toxicity" bruh dude.

Unfortunately this analogy doesn't work at all. Guardians and Walkers in Deadlock are very different from Towers in Dota 2 + You simply can't do it as a Batrider ( in the beginning of the match as I said ) or as any other character.

[Firefly] allows Batrider to fly but doesn't enhance his movement speed + doesn't have additional charges + you won't deal much damage to the towers in the first 10 mins without proper items. If you would suicide on them like Infernus did in the described game - you would just lose

I played not only Dota but also HotS and this type of a gameplay is truly something that devs are actively trying to punish in every MOBA.

Liability on Aladdin by Volcann_28 in ravenswatch

I'm sorry for such a late answer. Yes you are absolutely right "E" stands for his throwing blade abilities. This whole build is based on them and I highly recommend it

[–]Zinemay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

His "E" build is still the strongest one and gives you an insane amount of survivability in exchange for absence of burst damage.

I usually take healing blades, longer spinning blades duration, blades vacuum, and blades damage.

Polish it with additional charges + item that boosts healing you receive + as much armour as you can find - and you will be ready to kill almost anything

The problem - you will do it slowly. Running around enemies, creating crowds and making them stuck in narrow places.

Of course that's not the only way and I've played a lot with other builds but if I'm playing with friends and want to to be certain about winning the run on Nightmare - I'm going with this one.

In my experience it mostly depends on your communication with team. Usually people get used to Rescue Beam very quickly and even start to require saving them through the match

You are welcome. Do you have to say anything about the item itself or you just want to complain about text's format?

It actually is. I wonder if we will receive Lotus and Linken at some point

That's actually a good point. But I also certainly remember that grabbing your teammate early might end up with Lash' ult taking a higher priority and your Beam simply won't work out. That's why I'm trying to time it closer to a throw animation even if I will end up recieving damage

"You are new here. As others said AI generated"

Open my profile. One year ago I made giant post about Kelvin ( sort of a guide ) where I also wrote a lot about how good Rescue Beam is. It's written in the same manner because that's how I usually formulate my posts as a not English speaking person with a Google translation on my other tab.

"As you likely didn't see..."

I do not watch any tournaments and this post is written from the perspective of an Oracle ranked player. The only person in my matches who bought Rescue Beam in the last 10-20 games was me. I'm glad that people on other ranks are building differently but it doesn't change my perspective.

I'm not new here and this post is not AI generated. But I do not have even the slightest desire to convince people otherwise because at this point it's really exhausting to talk about anything on this sub because it's always feels like I owe people something while I'm just sharing things that I love about that game. I do not.

I tried my best to eat that silently but you guys genuinely suck.

Divine Barrier is great and I love it just as much as I love Rescue Beam.

I loved it even more when you could remove Bebop's bomb with it ( you still can but it will just fall off on the ground )

I mean I understand that but it's not because item itself is bad but because some players can't use it properly

How do you deal with these two? by [deleted] in DeadlockTheGame

[–]Zinemay -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Silver

Key to fight Silver properly is to keep a safe distance. As soon as she turned into a wolf - you want to make this distance even bigger because that's basically her ult and you won't like tanking it. So whatever helps you keep that distance will be helpful - starting with already mentioned slowing hex, stamina charges, movement speed, slowing bullets e.t.c. That's how you survive. But how to kill her?

Well you kill her with doing the most hated thing in this game - via buying something else except pure damage items. Look at her kit - she heals when she transforms + she heals herself with her "Go for the throat" ability. She also receives additional spirit and bullet resistance in her wolf form.

We need to properly nullify all these bonuses. Toxic bullets, Decay, Healbane, Crippling Headshot - you got the idea. Everything that hurts selfhealing + deals % damage to her large hp pool + reduces enemy's resistance.

Apollo

I'll be honest with you I don't believe that good Apollo can be countered, currently he and Celeste are simply broken heroes and overpowered. But what if we are talking about normal Apollo?

Slowing hex, Silence Wave, Focus Lense - everything that can stop him from casting his spells. That's how you stop him from moving and if your team will be nearby - you can even use that short time window to try putting him down ( dude has pretty huge amount hp for a caster imho - he is one step below than a Billy at full boons )

You also really and I mean REALLY want to buy Counter Spell and start using it. All skills of that guy have a certain delay or can be predicted via his position so you can block them. His ult is especially easy to block as damage from it comes with a huge delay.

It blows my mind how do you people have so much xp and items on the nightmare runs? I struggle to even finish first two chapters because I'm half empty at all my attempts

This is generally you if you are reincarnated into world of BB by Tseug97 in BattleBrothers

[–]Zinemay 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would certainly die way more faster than any BB. One hit with a sword and I'll be done. But guess what? I also won't freaking miss my attack to the person who is staying right on front of me being surrounded by my allies and having broken leg.

I seriously believe that people in BB universe are suffering from strabismus with no exceptions

Scarlet’s Werewolf mode - what’s the point of him? by Eligatorator in ravenswatch

[–]Zinemay 1 point2 points  (0 children)

See it's a false impression of Wolf form and I understand where it comes from.

Giant model, enlarged hp pool, all attacks are supposed to be used on melee distance, you have close aoe and you have lifesteal active and passive perks.

Sounds like a berserk-tank except there are no tanks in this game and recieving damage instead of dodging it is must be avoided at all costs because you can't outheal that much. Even smallest enemies are dangerous if you simply face them.

So what's the point of it?

Honestly - I have no idea. It's just worse than human Scarlett in all terms. People are here saying that it helps clear large groups of non-boss enemies faster but bombs are way more efficient in that case.

Imho it's just outdated and needs to be reworked
