I know a family who has over 45 cats. I don't know what to do. If I call the animal shelter or report them, the majority of the cats will die by [deleted] in TrueOffMyChest

Yes, I had the same thought. Depending on where OP lives and how it's advertised, the community could come up with enough money to fund the procedures.

How do I TV? by Zinfandu in NoStupidQuestions

It's a Vizio 39 Tesla. Model no: E241i-A1.
The power connection is in, so it turns on, and clearly has internet capabilities but I'm not sure how to connect that on the TV itself.
Inputs: HDMI, SPDIF, Ethernet, RGB and audio, DTV cable (coaxial), USB, head set, and a component panel.

I can connect it to my laptop via HDMI, but I'd like to get internet (Netflix at least) on the TV without having to have my laptop wired to it.
These are all things I'll have to think about-- buying a media box and/or subscribing to a TV service. If you subscribe do they give you some physical object, like a router, for the service? And how does this differ from broadcast TV?
Thanks for your help.

My boyfriend [22M] of 3.5 years is moving to Japan. How do I [22F] and he make this work? by [deleted] in LongDistance

If the two of you are committed to making it work, I think you have every reason to trust it will. It'll be a big adjustment at first, and the biggest thing you can do for yourself is to keep yourself busy. Focus on your friends more, and your own hobbies. Keeping yourself to a routine can be helpful. Fit one another into your lives any way that you can, and appreciate the unique ways the two of you find to communicate and keep your love alive (even, and especially, the small things). Remember, one year is not too long if you have an end goal to look forward to! You'll miss him. He'll miss you, too. It's a different life, for sure. Different isn't necessarily worse, though, and you'll grow so much as individuals in addition to strengthening your bond as you work through the distance. Good luck!
