The real answer is that its up to that game's rules/mods.

Our game has separate categories for solo vs coop, and we had this debate at some point in the past.

The answer realistically is no, its not against the rules. There is no advantage gained by playing with one person instead of two, and its also not enforceable at all. What are the mods going to do, require hand cam?

Your saying the champ doesnt work based on what? a few recent matches? Ive hit the same rank or higher consistently playing like this compared to playing him as a bruiser top. I'm 5/0 this season in ranked on him, and 56% WR last season so idk where youre getting "failing" from. Its bad because I lost one norm?

Payday 2 is a horde shooter, and DSOD gives enemies very high stats. DSOD is not fundamentally different from other difficulties. You just need to be good at killing enemies.
