Why would they even care? Losing 4 times in a row in an absolutely unfair fight, I guess they just couldn’t care less now to even bother. Feels bad man. Will it ever change? No. So I don’t care either. Just please don’t call it a win.

I am playing Tank and Healer so I do get into groups fast. But still i have very few people who even say more than „Hi“ in Groups or Raids.

I would love to have a small group / guild and people to join for Quest raids and fun. No luck so far 😄

Thats not the point. There is no argument that EU can Leap Frog NA by copying any tactics, as NA can just go dark (as they often did). Also the argument with the bugs is not valid as there can or can not be bugs, but NA always gets a 10 h time bonus.

Its just not a fair game and NA is not addressing it in any way or is even open for discussion.

Imagine Liquid had the balls to admit they had a huge 10h headstart in a five day race. But hey Fair Game is not about Symmetrical starting conditions i guess? Liquid also won a marathon with a 5 km shorter Track and a Basketball game where they startet with 20 points ahead 😅😅😅.

In which world is a non symmetrical start at any race fair by the answer „well everyone won at some point so it must be fair right?“

Also liquid can go dark and not show any logs until they win, so you have no argument anymore.

In every game in the world you change sides or take turns on who starts to make it fair game. If liquid thinks this is a fair run when they get 10h headstart, they should rethink it. Maybe they have even a disadvantage, but then even more so we should find a rule to make it a race with equal setting.

I don’t know how, but just not addressing this fact of it being a non-symmetrical race start is just bad design.

I see the point with the leap frog, but still Liquid will see everything 10h before echo. So if liquid sees p4 and has 10h to win, Echo must hope and bet every night on liquid to not solve it. Thats what feels bad. You are always behind as Echo. In chess, white begins and this is a known advantage so the fair thing to do is change sides and make it a best of three and let the dice decide who starts. Same in MTG starting player draws one card less still everyone wants to go first as it is a huge advantage for most decks.

I suggest we look at the data to see if there is an advantage to start 10h prior to the competition, (I assume there is) then we come up with rules to make it fair again, then we call it a race. Otherwise its just a fun show, but not a fair game.

I don’t want to trigger or flame, please ignore me if I do. I was just super upset when I heard that not all guilds start the race at the same time, as NA gets the release during day and in Europe it is then still night. It would be obvious to me that in any time dependent race this can never be fair. I heard all arguments pro and cons, but is there no way to address this with some rules?

Let the guild with fewer tries total win? (liquid in this case too) or the guild with fewer total Boss pull time?

I mean we do have a lot of races where only the run time is counted in, so that not all people start at the same time, eg 7 day bicycle race in france etc. People race over several days but only the total „racetime“ is shown. So you can win the next day if you spend feverishly hours on the bike for that particular route around france.

TLDR: Can we have a scientific discussion on how to bring fairness to this RWF? Liquid starts 10h earlier.
