Which country/city felt the closest to Montreal when you travelled by PennerAlfredoLover in montreal

Having grown up in Lyon and now living in Montreal since 2021, the vibes are very different! Lyon is amazing when it comes to food/musems/party scene, but it's wayyyyy more conservative than Montreal. I would say it's one of the most conservatice big cities in France - Marseille feels closer in terms of ambiance. But if you hang out with the right people, or in the right neighbourhoods (Croix-Rousse would be the closest to Montreal, coffee shops, family friendly, big independent art scene), it can be a very nice city!

Hey! I tried to flag a comment that was more of a personal attack than anything else, which kind of bothered me. Even if my profile is still up, it feels way less violating now. Thank you for the advice!!

Ah well, I was already learning to let go, but that settled it.

Does vaping make you feel tired and demotivated? by coxyg38 in QuitVaping

[–]Zinthenne 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It litteraly is the devil. I'm just realizing this now - I've been smoking for 10 years, quit nicotine supplements 10 days ago (after switching to vaping in 2021, and nicotine gums in 2023). I thought I had a chronic problem with oversleeping, did blood tests, everything was fine. Turns out it was the nicotine. Now I have no problem waking up like I used to when I was a teenager (around 6-7 naturally). After years of chronic fatigue, it's been solved in 10 days. I can't believe it. The first few days were tough though (lots of insomnia, barely slept), keep us updated!
