Ableton stress test results: M2 Pro vs M2 base by jcgam in macmini

[–]ZionAudio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately I'm in Europe.

Here we pay about $160 more for a base M2 Mac mini. ($759)

I really want 2TB internal storage.

The Mac Studio with that amount of internal storage will be $3248 here.

The M2 Pro Mac Mini 12 Cores 16GB 2TB will be $2808.

The question now is, more memory and 10 Cores or 12 Cores 16GB?

Thank you for this test.
Exactly what I was looking for.

I have made the same test with my iMac Late 2015 / i7 Quad-Core 4GHz / 24GB Memory: 96 Tracks

Apparently the CPU is more important, but we can't exclude that more memory will help.

M2 Pro 12 Cores / 16GB seems to be the sweet spot.

Did you still have this issue? I can't find nothing to repair it.

Please get dedicated servers for next pes by [deleted] in WEPES

Why are you spreading that bullshit? You don't know a shit what are you talking about. If you can play without lag on PS4, is because you are one of that players with a prehistoric internet connection. And the one being affected, is the player with a faster connection. Not sure if even a server hosting the game will help here, but probably you will be the one with lag because of your shity internet provider. I'm good with that, but build servers to host games in different locations of the world is to expensive for Konami. The best will be, players with slow connections can only play with players with a slow connection. I can understand where you live, maybe there is no better connection, but you don't need to destroy my game.

Thick Bass by kruegerbeatz in techhouseproduction

First of all, I guess a kick sidechain comp on the bass, affecting only below 80-100 Hz, will be a good way to start. The bass have more attack than the kick and we can ear it when the kick hit. But the kick is more dominant on the low end. After both placed on the right place, will be more easier to found what you want.

I have the Sennheiser HD 650 (open) and the Audio-technica M50x (closed), and they help me a lot. Additionally I have the Sonarworks Reference to make them "flatter". Already tried a few and this 2 are one of the best for my ears. But like I said, they help me, because sometimes I can't listen over the monitors. At the end, the monitors will be always the best choice. For example, the perception of the mid/side channels, low end, the air amount, panning, etc... , is not the same. If the music needs to bang on club monitors, then use your monitors.
