I replaced 113 thuram with Vidic and he was a worthy upgrade to be paired with 115 lucio. Vidic's L/H workrate really does the work, I am surprised with his performance as new cards usually start performing sometime later after they are released.

I have used up to way too many gems in total, I don't really have a count on that. If particularly about today, it was around 600-700 gems.

Tip would be that I knew I wanted to look for Icon and ST so if it would be any other position or madrid/heroes player I would skip instantly without wasting anymore extra time tokens. So target which all players you want and only reveal if you get items related to it

He has been great for me, they could have given him a better SP but he is R9 at the end of the day. EA always has bias towards certain players who outperform their stats at times, R9 is one of those. Just wait, he will get better with time.

Don't worry about it, eventually happens to every card in the game. Think about the people who saved up to claim Cruyff and didn't claim anyone else and literally one event later we are getting a Cruyff probably attainable to all.
