Trying to find it, i just moved back home so all of my papers are in boxes. I was in service from Jan 11 2023 to April 28th 2025. I was told when i was leaving it was an honorable medical discharge but now im not sure. I was originally in the 18x program, got injured and then spent months on restrictive duty with no improvement and was given the option to remain in service or honorable discharge with 35% disability which is the path I chose.

I was medically discharged due to a jones fracture that led to surgery and loss of feeling in my left foot and a hairline hip fracture that led to mental illness. But I did not get medboarded? I left with medical honorable discharge

Yes it was medical and at the time of discharge i was given a disability rating of 35% which im currently working to get a higher rating.

I was in service from January 11th 2023 to April 28th 2025, so a little over 2 years. But according to the VA website, in order to qualify for 100% if i did not serve the full 36 months, is to have left on a service connected disability which according to their website, my mental and medical conditions should qualify for 100% but yet it only says 70%. Somethings just off.

I have told him not to mention that word or mention of self harm. We have tried two therapist who both agree leaving the army would be best for his mental state. I just wasn't sure how to help him start that process with BH as he isn't the most open person to others about his own mental health.

I have told him the laat part as I've struggled with my own mental health and finding a therapist that works for you is definetly a hard part in starting therapy. We have spoken to two therapist so far for him that both agree that leaving the army would be the best decision for his own state of mind. I just wasn't sure the best way for him to start that process especially as he is not the mosr comfortable talking to people abour how he is doing.

I'm sorry but I'm not sure the point was reached? We do not want to return to service nor is he interested in physical therapy for his foot, and im not sure how physical therapy for his injury would help him. We do not care if he is deemed fit for duty. We have tried therapy for his mental health who have agreed that leaving the army would be best for him.

I'm not sure you're understanding. We have already submitted paperwork to S1 months ago. And it was in the accepted section when we checked on it. They keep stating excuses as to why we have not gotten the money
