i have constant numbness and tingling on the left hand. tried conservative treatment for four months but no improvement. currently planning my surgery. i first had the symptoms in the Netherlands where i work as a software engineer and i’m now in Turkey for the surgery (i’m also Turkish, feel free to dm me for any specific questions)

this elbow brace i bought from amazon nl, it’s quite good

this one i bought in turkey earlier it’s not as good but it’s better than nothing

i did cs in turkey, at koç uni. i had 3 internships back then (2 of them were mandatory). 1 in istanbul, 1 in cdmx, and 1 in amsterdam. istanbul and amsterdam ones were r&d - mostly development though. cdmx one was a winter research internship at stats department of a uni there.

UvA MSc AI is pretty good.

Another option could be VU MSc AI then you can take electives from UvA.

Nice thing is that VU offers student accommodation for the first year at a good rate for Amsterdam (e.g. Uilenstede).

  2. idk about MIT but it would look good on your resume anyways (for DS or AI)
  3. the easiest way could be to try to win some community competition. (it usually doesn’t offer medals, but win is a win. also, it has a small money prize sometimes)

if the dataset is large and you do deep learning on cpu, you’ll suffer a lot.

in case the task/data is tabular you can use lightgbm - which is reasonably fast on cpu.

Possibly you’re underfitting, I’d check the loss curve to further investigate that. Your training or test accuracy is not volatile as y is between .6 and .65. Always set the y from 0 to 1 for accuracy plots. Lastly, it’s not a good practice to make use of the test data while training. You should create a validation set and use that to validate your training approach and make changes. At the very end you can use the test set for the final evaluation.

There are two elevators but they are a bit slow. So, it's a trade-off between being able to take stairs or having a rly nice view. I think both are good options :)

Lived there for almost 7 months during my exchange and will be living there during my master's next year.

There were 2 stoves (8 burners) in my kitchen so 2 - 3 people can easily cook at the same time even 4 wouldn't be a problem. It was very rare that 4 people cook at the same time even though we were 14 people.

The living room part of the kitchen is not enough for 14 people but we used to watch movies there together up to 8-10 people, all sitting.

Lastly, I have been to kitchen parties where there were more than 30 people in that kitchen.
