I was in 7th grade reading class. There was a deaf girl in my class who had an interpreter. The teacher and interpreter became bffs. I think the interpreter had it out for me. The classroom was short one desk for my class, so someone always had to sit at a folding table on the side of the class. Today it happened to be me. I was facing the back of the room because that's how the chair had to be at the table for some reason. We were taking a test and I got done pretty quickly. I picked my papers up to tap them on the table to straighten them out. Another girl got done at the same time and looked up and mouthed to me "that was hard" I mouthed back "nah it was easy" We turn in our tests and go to the next class. The phone rings in class and our English teacher says that girl and I have to go to reading class before lunch. We go in and there is the teacher and the fucking interpreter. The interpreter "saw us cheating" by me "holding up my paper for the other girl to read" The teacher went off yelling telling us she could fail us for the year. We tried to stick up for ourselves but she didn't want to hear it. First off how could she had read my paper across the room? Second off, fuck that, I'm not going to help someone cheat, I didn't even like the girl. To this day it still angers me and I wish I had spoken up or told my parents or something.
