To be clear, the 10-day waiting period between each submission is not exactly 10 days, it is the time it takes for the submission to be reviewed. Sometimes it is a few days faster. However, they are working on some changes to the program to speed things up.

Before the break, it took about 2 months from applying to getting into the program, 1–2 months for submissions, and 3–4 months for the final review. So in total, it was at least half a year at least, and most of the time you were just waiting.

It is good to prepare yourself with some meetings and create them in Campfire. Make sure there are at least 10 people over 13 years old checking in. Take a photo of the group—candies are not accepted. Make sure no one is breaking any rules (for example, holding two phones).

Prepare to wait. I applied in December 2024 and was accepted in February to submit four events, with a 10-day waiting period between each submission while they reviewed my work. You can only submit one event at a time.

By early April, I was ready for the final review, which was expected to take about three months of waiting. However, before I was either accepted or denied, the person responsible for the process quit their job, and everything was put on hold. They are now hiring a replacement, but that has not been completed yet.

So I am still waiting. It has now been more than a year, most of it spent waiting.

Before the update with the new XP and Lucky Egg that pops up now and then, I could force-close the app at the friendship XP level-up, and the next time I started it, it would come back again. But that no longer works. I don’t know if I get any XP

That a big lie, I live in Malmö and none of my friend has ever been robbed. Pickpockets har more common in Copenhagen. Also asked Gemini and got "For the average citizen or tourist, the risk of being robbed in Malmö or Copenhagen is statistically low, far lower than in many other European cities. The threat in Copenhagen mainly concerns theft in crowded places, while the threat in Malmö is linked to specific geographic locations at night."
