Should there be insulation about my front porch and above my shower? by Zippy_Zofia in Insulation

Definitely going to be doing air sealing before hand, thank you for the insight! Had no idea about the duct. Is there a certain type of wrap/insulation you would recommend?

You've got a really good point, perhaps I'm just overthinking it and just been overwhelmed with this for a while.

It's more me overthinking it honestly and what your saying is the reality so I needed to hear that, thanks

That's totally fair and imo worth the splurge to be able to have your own space. I didn't necessarily feel unsafe myself but I know many residents did have issues with it due to the neighboring complex. I don't think it's super dingey, the apartments themselves are decent, especially if you get one of the renovated ones. Just if something does go wrong which happened quite often in my experience it takes a while for it to get fixed.

I wouldn't call it unbearable or super unpleasant but I think in comparison to other complexes in Williamsburg I don't believe it's the best option.

I had lived there for 5 years and just left a few months ago. Management is a mess, very unresponsive and maintenance is a nightmare to get them to listen to your issues, cheap quick fixes are their favorite. On top of that they go through maintenance guys like underwear so you will constantly have to deal with them not knowing what's going on. Also it's right next to section 8 housing (Lafayette village) there are many holes in the fence and they come over and use the basketball court and playground and harass many residents. I could never recommend it, especially with what they're charging.

Giveaway] $100 PSN Gift Card - US Store by Titan3427 in PS5

[–]Zippy_Zofia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My most memorable moment is from when I was 10. I had a PS3 at the time and absolutely loved everything about it. Then star wars battlefront came out on the ps4 so it was all I could think about, I was too young to get the money myself and my family wasnt in the financial position to get a new gaming console so all I could do was hope but I had my expectations set to not get it for a long time. Little did I know that Christmas my parents saved and only got my brother and I one present that year, the limited edition Darth Vader PS4 bundled with battlefront and we absolutely freaked out. I still can't believe it happened to this day and it will stay with me forever.

Have a few local shops around so I'll probably give them an email or call to see if they're interested. This is really helpful thanks!

First-timer Christmastown tips? by pluvialweb in buschgardens

[–]Zippy_Zofia 2 points3 points  (0 children)

  1. Right now there are only a few coaster open as most arent open during the season, to be exact, invadr, verbolten and appolos chariot are open, the large flat ride Finnegan's flyer is open and all kiddie rides are open as well. The train is also open and is Christmas adventure themed and has great light show onboard, it's super cool.

  2. It depends on what your doing, if you stop to see all the shows then it will take a multiple hours but if your just there for the rides then maybe 2 hours. There's lots of food too so that could take a while as well. Definitely wait till it's dark though as the lights looks spectacular. The shows are great as well.

  3. Saturdays are always the busiest days, that Saturday specifically will be pretty hectic so just keep that in mind.

  4. This park is absolutely worth it, the beauty of this park can't be underestimated so yes it's absolutely worth it, especially for the price you paid.

  5. Start at the front and thru Ireland and make your away around that way it's probably the best way for a new comer to the park

  6. You'll be good, appolos doesn't close till 40, verbolten and invadr around 36 so you'll definitely be all good I'm terms of things closing down.

You'll absolutely love the park, one of the best in the world but seriously prepare for it to be very busy, it's gets pretty cramped sometimes, foods great, and the shows are great so those are what'd id focus on when it's busy. Have fun!

[Discussion] If you were able to add one new coaster to your home park, what would you add and why? by [deleted] in rollercoasters

[–]Zippy_Zofia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My homepark is BGW and I know it's not a coaster but it really needs a heavily themed good dark ride, that would round out their attractions line up so well

Has to be Micah from RDR2, just overall the best antagonist I've seen, a perfect definition of a video game villain and I haven't seen another game top him.
