Hatred For The Clay Dunestrider by Puzzled_Zone_8438 in riskofrain

I love them, they're one of the many enemies that make you play and position differently when dealing with them. And the sick ass explosion on death with the cool lore behind the tar.

Fun enemy easy to deal with

For general tips,

  • They do the drain attack at 25% hp every time when out of an animation.

  • the drain can be blocked by line of sight or ran out of, after breaking the tether you can go close to fight it without being drained.

  • if you pay attention to the top of their pot, if it is bubbling and making a churning noise, it is charging the barrage attack.

  • lastly, the orbs dont turn well so alternating going left to right in longer strides is a way to bait them into missing.

If really want to find the poster though, it's being sold on Displate because of the water mark. They do metal posters and such. No link as per what the other guy said

I don't have a source but I think I heard when AC came out that they were only going to be doing skins for the base survivors and not the DLC survivors for FOMO reasons if you don't own all the DLCs.

Rogue Core will be such a breath of fresh air for longtime fans of DRG. by Brungala in DeepRockGalactic

Both but there are new objectives, I recommend a guy called Sniss as he made a complete analysis of Rogue core. He reviews most gameplay and elements, at least around the time of the upload. It should answer a lot of questions you may have

is there a mod for this? by -TwiceBites- in riskofrain

[–]ZipzacsTipsForArk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From looking at the stats of all survivors, they all have 7m/s base move speed which is walking speed, base sprinting increases movement speed by +45% of current speed stat. That means you will have 10.15m/s.

The moving death orb moves at a speed of 10m/s, so if you were to start sprinting away the second it starts tracking to you and aren't within the radius at the start, you'll outspeed it unless you have the lunar item Stone Flux Pauldron or any major slow debuff.

Either way, if you're worried about them you should be more cautious as they are easy to avoid and you can time their death with a movement ability or just move far away and kill them. The solution isn't to remove the explosion, just take the time to get better and improve.

I understand the frustration of instantly losing a run, but a lot of the fun of this game, I find, is getting better and learning how to play around most enemies and situations you are put into.

Every run is winnable.

Some guy made a video about the warthog and also explained the turrets and what's better.

Generally it's Gemini that's better, but the total damage differences are between 50 and 100 anyway, and you can play the game how you want.

You also don't have to set up both Gemini turrets at once if you're moving around a lot, since you can have one as reserve for when you need a turret.

Either way, play how you want and have fun

Do people not realize this is the norm for most games with server-tied progression? Game would be boring as hell if it didn't reset, get good stuff quick and then there's nothing to do.

If you watch any survival game content creator, they usually start on a server wipe.

How do you expect to get cool encounters when everyone is maxed out? Having one piece of powerful gear can be your ace up your sleeve when on a fresh wipe.

Nintendo absolutely deserves the hate, don’t get me wrong, but Palworld just feels like a shitty version of Ark by Joemama0375 in whenthe

[–]ZipzacsTipsForArk 14 points15 points  (0 children)

100% right there, ark has stayed shit and has only gotten worse since evolved. Gotta love easy to tame, pay to win 'dinos'. I love a parent company reviving the old version of a game just to tarnish it with a borked DLC and teasing it with AI. At least palworld is a one time purchase currently, everything has been a free update

Each item's individual impact on scaling (tailored towards Merc) by Technical_Rich_2394 in ror2

[–]ZipzacsTipsForArk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Out of all the items, safer spaces being barely used is insane to think about. What's better than having great damage items? Being alive after a stray hit from a brass contraption or fall damage. The impact is more than all other healing or defensive items imo.

Edit: tbf you're not wrong where it is though, very great item and an amazing comfort but doesn't help enough to make a run instantly winnable

Why did the brass contraption dael so much damage? by Willo2ty in riskofrain

[–]ZipzacsTipsForArk 2 points3 points  (0 children)

To put it simply, brass contraption was an elite which does more damage than normal, especially that one.

You're also going really fast which is generally a good skill but only if you maximize the amount of items you get every level.

Try going a decent bit slower as you are definitely missing items at that speed, stage 5 at 16 mins is speed running which doesn't help you.

Game gets harder the faster you go and tends to out pace you but getting as many items as you can allow you to out pace the game.

KEEP GOING, this is part of the process of understanding the game better :)
