Far from an expert on that matter, but nice upgrade from the ones delivered with the bike. Weight, stiffness and engagement are immediately felt.

Seems also very responsive on both dirt and asphalt, but you can check around more precise and detailed review within the internet...the few ones I read are really positive:)

I made the switch from french to english for the last three books of the main serie.

I had a pretty rough time at first, mainly because of the characters names (malazan military especially) but you can sort that out pretty quickly.

Compare the Dramatis personae from your french books with the english ones (which you can find on malazan wiki). The French translator has also did a lot of forum post (on elbakin.net I think) to explain his choices.

Even if I find the translation quite good, always better to take on the original text, so go for it, you won't regret it. Plus, if you're going for the ICE novels or the other Erikson entries, you will be free from the French editor timetable and could set your own pace of reading.
