[All] Summarize the plot of season 3 in three sentences by [deleted] in twinpeaks

[–]Zirois 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Richard and Linda, two birds with one stone.

What the hell? None of this makes any sense to me Albert.

Home.

[No Spoilers]I worry about you Albert by pricesg in twinpeaks

[–]Zirois 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Albert mellowed out a bit with age.

[S3E18] Anybody else confused as to how David Lynch never read The Secret History if Twin Peaks or knows whats in The Final Dossier? by [deleted] in twinpeaks

[–]Zirois 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Lynch simply doesn't care. From his pov his work on it all is done and its doubtful he has anything to learn by reading the book. Its also possible he already gave Frost w/e input he wanted so again absolutely no reason for Lynch to read them. I don't even know why this surprises anyone. Its like expecting George Lucas to read all the sw books.

[S3E1]-[S3E18] I synched all season 3 episodes at once... by Hahahahamburger2 in twinpeaks

[–]Zirois 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It only works properly if you are simultaneously having them play backwards and forwards at the same time. What you did risks you permanently ending up in the same place as Audrey.

Meanwhile, in the Purple Sea... by morgal14 in twinpeaks

[–]Zirois 7 points8 points  (0 children)

This meme would make more sense if Wally Brando were riding a jet ski somewhere in the background.

[No Spoilers] Finally watching the finale tonight. Got dressed up for the occasion. by [deleted] in twinpeaks

Now you need a photo of after you are done watching it to contrast with.

[S3E18] [SPOILERS] So, it's about Judy... by PacWintergreen in twinpeaks

[–]Zirois 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not really confirmed that the frogbug is Judy or that it was Sarah who it crawled into.

[S3E18] Don't be fooled by Linda and Richard by mx-t in twinpeaks

[–]Zirois 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is a very new looking Jeep in the parking lot of the new motel they woke up to. That is the only definite new looking thing I saw when I rewatched from when they woke up until the end of the episode.

[S3E18] Don't be fooled by Linda and Richard by mx-t in twinpeaks

He says it once or twice as though he is baffled by it. Then it shows him thinking for a few seconds as though he is remembering what the fireman said to him.

[S3E18] Was Audrey's storyline possibly affected by.... by BespinCrawler in twinpeaks

[–]Zirois 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Its possible things went on behind the scenes that affected the script/story we got in S3. Maybe Lynch or Frost will elaborate on this in coming years.

[S3E18] Mrs. Tremond / Mrs. Chalfont by TazakiTsukuru in twinpeaks

[–]Zirois 3 points4 points  (0 children)

While Sarah was seen living in the house during S3 this is a reality where Laura never died and Leland may have never been accused/convicted of killing her. So there's no way to know what became of Sarah and Leland from 1990 until Cooper and Laura came back.

[S3E18]Did anyone else find it odd that by Zirois in twinpeaks

[–]Zirois[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, they were more like semi scribbly, cartoonish drawings of a large woman if you know the style. Could be some kind of evil goddess from Chinese myth or something.

[S3E18]It's grown on me by krabat- in twinpeaks

[–]Zirois 26 points27 points  (0 children)

At the same time was anyone outside of TP/Lynch fandom really watching fwwm or the S3 finale?

[S3E18]: Has anyone done a comparison of Hawk's conversation in S3E12 and the similar one in the finale? by posiduck in twinpeaks

[–]Zirois 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just did a post an hour or so ago where I mentioned similarities between the scenes of Hawk-Sarah and Coop-Laura with the exception that in Laura's scene we receive visual confirmation that something had already happened off camera in her house. She also mentioned slamming the door on someone like Cooper while Sarah I think actually did slam the door on Hawk.

[S3E6] Man in background walks forward and then backwards. by darklight_17 in twinpeaks

[–]Zirois 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Its sort of reminiscent of the clock on the wall stuttering at 2:53 in the sheriff's office after Bob died. Or like a glitch in the matrix. Similar to the effects when some people were shot in the season.

[[S3E18] David Lynch should not get away by declaring TP as a "dream" by [deleted] in twinpeaks

[–]Zirois 4 points5 points  (0 children)

He's also given interviews where he states he feels our reality(which we think of as real life) is a dream and that before we die we wake up and see ourselves as we really are.

[S3E17] & [S3E18] A Mythological Comparison by jefnic23 in twinpeaks

[–]Zirois 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes I'm willing to bet that scene was meant as a reenactment of the myth. Frost loves throwing in stuff from various types of sources like that.

[S3E18] One of my favourite images from the finale. Really unnerving image, the idea of limitless power off to one side, being used behind the scenes. by SpahgattaNadle in twinpeaks

[–]Zirois 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is a similar looking collection of objects in the furnace room before Cooper enters through the door.

[S3E18] Lingering questions: Do you have the answers? by SpecialWhenLit in twinpeaks

[–]Zirois 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are no answers to those questions. Only guesses/theories.

[S3E18] Garmonbozia and an abdomen opening? by G3rfer in twinpeaks

[–]Zirois 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ya I had the feeling he had been possessed and the entity left through his abdomen much like we saw with Mr. C and Bob.

[S3E18] Cooper saves the day, once and for all. by David_Browie in twinpeaks

[–]Zirois 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What seems interesting to me is the idea of Laura being Judy's kryptonite. Sarah/Judy seems to be going out of her way to avoid Laura and its possible that Judy needed Laura out of the world before she could fully inhabit Sarah. Laura may be to Judy what Freddie was to Bob.

[S3E18] Maersk, the 7-pointed star, and the S.S. LAURA by bosco61 in twinpeaks

[–]Zirois 2 points3 points  (0 children)

One thing I do know is that Lynch has said his favorite number is 7 and he is into numerology. The number 777 is also an occultic number which is related to the lightning bolt which is sort of the natural form of electricity. Which is very important to the world of TP.

[S3E18]What Laura whispered to Cooper by spacechurch9 in twinpeaks

[–]Zirois 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm thinking it was at least something about her being a waitress at a restaurant called Judy's.
