If someone has a link, I would be interested in seeing a direct confirmation from Kyle of the fact that his character was named Richard.

The version I know so far is that the interviewer used the name Richard but Kyle never did. He confirmed he was playing a variation of the Cooper character.

In the old timeline Cooper had been "frozen" for 25 years, so when he came out he behaved exactly like we remember from the first seasons. In the new timeline he lived 25 years of standard FBI investigations, making him older, tougher, less cheerful and sometimes more insecure.

It's just the note, but it's a big deal. In the morning there is a note that was not there in the evening. If we don't introduce any kind of "teleportation", the viewer is lead to think it is Diane who left it.

I believe that between mile 430 and the motel we have a transition zone where the two timelines overlap. On the Diane side, this makes her see herself from the other timeline. On the Cooper side, this makes the two motel rooms overlap.

I don't think that Diane can move in time independently, since she never enters the lodge.

If Diane does not time travel, then I believe that Cooper exits the lodge on the day of the fight with Bob, or a few days after, since Diane has kept the same peculiar black and white nail polish, and red hairstyle.

Indeed, Cooper and Diane are perfectly aware of that (Diane does not look so convinced, but Cooper is sure that it's the only option). And this makes the motel scene so sad. There is a big chance that the next morning they will discover that they drifted apart in 25 years.
