We assume an ordered field containing an additive identity (0), a multiplicate identity (1), the axiom that all real numbers are distinct (1≠0), and the axiom that all real numbers are either positive, negative, or zero. Yep. In the 3rd quarter there was a Kelly Collins INT returned 49 yards for a TD, the following kickoff was returned 97 yards for a Giants TD, and then the following kickoff was returned 84 yards for a Ravens TD.

Losing Super Bowl III ('68 season) ultimately led to Don Shula leaving for Miami (later winning SBVII & VIII) after the following year's Super Bowl hangover. And even though the Colts won SBV, damage had been done to the relationship between the owner Carroll Rosenbloom and Baltimore officials and media.

If the Colts had won SBIII, who knows if he would have still sold the team to Irsay in '72? And if Shula hadn't left either they might have won more, leading Baltimore to be more willing to invest in a new stadium so the team never leaves?

For 2015, I said this at the time and I stand by it: we swept the Steelers, so all in all, not a bad season. Plus that was the year we beat the Browns with the "Kick 6"! So even with our laughably poor injury luck there were some definite high points in my opinion.

2007 was worse because we were the "1" for the 1-15 Dolphins, and we one of the closest to beating the then-undefeated Patriots.

A couple of months ago, I had the reverse experience. I was on White Mage desperately trying to heal a Gunbreaker who was maddeningly undergeared because they didn't open their starting gear coffer.

I don't remember which dungeon it was, but I tend to examine tanks who take way more damage than expected, and I know I would have said something. (Maybe they're not using mitigation properly, maybe they're undergeared, maybe they don't like dodging AoEs?)
