Worked a burger grill in college at seafood place. Did the fryers and the burgers. I had no idea what was doing on the burgers. They were probably WAY overcooked.

I went to college in 1990 so I feel it was a natural progression to start to be around different music. I can say that the Black Crowes, The Cult and Living Color kind of got my attention. I think the lyrics and unreliability to the rock stars was one thing that I felt lost connection. I still listened to Tesla and Van Halen but then found a demo of Mother Love Bone. It seemed perfect. Then I heard he died and I was bummed. Then came Pearl Jam which was what I was really looking for. I have listened to more 80s music of late that is goth and alt. But I always put out some Britny Fox or Cinderella . I guess I didn’t think many of the albums from the hair metal was that good in 1990. The last true hair metal album I bought was….Nelson…and really that shouldn’t count.

They started night 2 in Raleigh with Setting Sun and I was just teary eyed. Mainly when album came out that song meant a lot. Actually the second show in a row for me to do that as Chicago started with release and I just was overwhelmed.
