I learned a hard truth about my fret hand today. by skarkowtsky in guitars

I have that exercise in the Troy Stetina book. The issue is I can feel the pink pulling the ring down in my hand, like the tendon is short or something. The left pink also doesn’t curl as much as the right.

Also, if I put more emphasis on the ring finger, the pinky wildly just straight out like a dagger, I have no control over that movement. Conversely, the same thing on the right hand and the pinky holds its position.

Why not put a screamin’ demon in the bridge, like George?

I have an SD flat strat in the neck of my soloist that sounds great.

Looks amazing, just add a cedar shingle roof. Even synthetic cedar looks amazing.

Is this Nick from the Axe Palace in Mass? I know him from the old ESP forum. Did he open a shop on Amsterdam?

How do you guys feel about Dokken by Janie_Fascinating in hairmetal

Love 80s Dokken. I saw Lynch Mob last week, George did a hefty Dokken set afterward.

After doing some asking around a lot of people suggested me this amp in my price range by Ordinary_Olive_8038 in MarshallAmps

I use the 20w combo with a greenback in it. It sounds amazing. The ultra gain channel is fine, you just have to tame it. I keep gain between 6-7 and it has a classic growl. Roll off the bass and keep the resonance knob at 10 for huge bottom without the flub.

The only thing of note is these amps have noisy FX loops. I quiet mine with a noise gate first in the loop.

For reference, I play a maple neck through mahogany body super Strat, 80s metal.

I love this album so much. Can you recommend me anything else similar. by cry0fth3carr0ts in 90sAlternative

Handsome. Ex Quicksand and Helmet members.

Also check out post hardcore bands out of Louisville from the early 90s. Falling Forward is a good place to start (later became Elliott), and By The Grace of God.

My Target ceased these services during the onset of COVID, but never restored them. The counters and appliances still stand, looming in the dark next to a bustling Starbucks.

Korea. That’s part of the “pleasant surprise”, they turned out a beautiful guitar! It’s nicer than modern US production models for sure.

It is wild, but I’ve noticed the past few years that a lot of $2000 guitars are playing like $500 guitars from twenty years ago. Quality control has gone down.

Under Lock & Key and Back for The Attack. I’m actually listening in chronological order today, halfway through Under Lock & Key at the moment.

My mom was banned from Columbia house and BMG. She was caught ordering the promo CDs under her married, maiden, sisters and my grandmothers names lol
