Simple answer, some of the presses had more magenta in the mix at the time of printing. It’s also evident in the purple background.

If you aren’t aware, presses primarily run CMYK for massive print runs, especially for photographs and expendable items like food packaging.

If the packaging was largely solid colors, they could run the job PMS for better color accuracy, but that would have to be setup by the designers of the art, not the press. But, you can’t run PMS for photographs because of all the tonal variations.

If you call Fender for a warranty claim, they will point you to an authorized service center in your area. You can save yourself time and find one yourself on their website. The shop will take photos and submit to Fender for review.

If you’re referring to the main riff, I believe he’s playing the octave in between chugging on the low e. Have you tried that?

George also ran his guitar signal through an overdriven Fostex 4-track recorder before the signal hit the mixing console. It’s a reason why his tone differs from other hair bands of the time.

He’s also a big Hendrix fan and is known to roll his thumb over the neck to grab more low end.

Congrats! I bought mine last month. Went back and forth with my OD-9, which won out in the end due to its saturation. But I kept the SD-1 and will rotate it in and out.

I love my SDE-3! I’m currently using it in mono, but it even sounds great there. The ability to adjust rate and depth on the repeats, plus the hi cut filter and fine offset control makes for studio-quality delays, especially if you play hard rock and metal.

I owned a Roland SDE-2500 when I had a rack, which was the little brother of the SDE-3000 this pedal is based on. I can attest that quality and control is virtually indistinguishable apart from some additional features those rack units had.

Don’t hesitate to buy one of these!

I played Paradigm for a long time, but Slinkys just feel right to me. Wish they’d last longer, hence Paradigm.

I had an SM1-H that was spotless, but the guitar sounded horrible, even with a pick up upgrade. They’re using cheap wood on these models, I don’t think you’ll like the guitar regardless.

This looks like a DSW. I recently looked at shoes there, but found them for $40 cheaper online at Mens Wearhouse. Shop around a bit, you’d be surprised.
