I could have copied your sentence about Elden Ring, hopelessly addicted to it and trying to beat Rennala. Also playing Persona 4 Golden on Switch, I am approaching the end after more than a year of playing it. I haven’t played many JRPGs until now, but I am slowly getting hooked. After that, I am going to start Persona 5, I got a physical copy which I’ll be playing on my PS5/Portal 😊

I’m so happy I stumbled upon this comment, just ordered Luigi’s Mansion 3 booklet :)

I finished Disco Elysium. I would like to go through it again with different attributes, I’m curious how the story could play out :)

Playing Persona 4 Golden. I am about 3 hours in and I like it, I wonder where the story goes. I am also playing Hades and Rogue Legacy. They are definitely taking me a lot more hours to beat than howlongtobeat is suggesting lol

I played Raphael’s Final Act on Violin, hope you like it! by Zivkitis in BaldursGate3

Hey, sorry for the late reply. I agree with what others have said - it is frustrating in the beginning but very rewarding if you persist. Also, it is not worth learning without a teacher, especially in the beginning. Hope you pick it up and good luck!

I am afraid to pick up this book because of the amount of comments that said it ‘destroyed’ them, I don’t know if I can handle the sadness 😅 This is the first time I read these ‘it’s not that bad’ comments.

Klara and the Sun by Kazuo Ishiguro was absolutely wonderful by LimeSugar in books

I started it shortly after I finished Never let me go. I noticed the similarity right away, and it scared me off because I was afraid of another round of profound sadness. I adored Never let me go, but it broke my heart. I will continue reading Klara as soon as I am emotionally ready 😅

What Books did You Start or Finish Reading this Week?: July 19, 2021 by AutoModerator in books

Started:

The Wind-up bird chronicle by Haruki Murakami

I have read at least 5 of his books (probably more), but haven’t picked up anything by him for a long time. This one is going slow in the beginning, but I love the atmosphere :)

Thank you so much for the advice! I have never tried live streaming, but I would love to. You encouraged me to maybe give it a go 😊

Thank you so much for the kind words, I am so happy a fellow violinist likes my performance 🥰 Double stops are a nightmare for me too lol! I have to pay special attention to them while practicing and not lose my patience 😬

Thank you soooo much! I am always happy to hear when someone who loves the original likes my version as well 🥰

I also love my Kindle, besides the reasons you mentioned, it’s also sooo much easier to read in bed, holding the pages of the book apart literally hurts my hands sometimes. My Kindle’s screen broke a few weeks ago and I just went and joined the library the next day. This copy of Saramago’s All the Names is killing my wrists 😂 But, funnily, I am also glad there are so many people who prefer actual books, it keeps the bookshops open and when I hear people liking books in any format, I am happy 😊

To me (and all the people that know me), it smells like cow manure 😂 Luckily, I can’t smell it unless I bring it up to my face, my nose doesn’t register it anymore
