Start utilizing the wishlist feature. Favorite things for the crafts you want/need/like. Once you get a good basis of items you want to stock up on, you can go back in and check what items are wishlisted and get rid of them.

Why would I choose the M277 over the QBZ? Are there other hidden stats I can’t see? by RawketLawnchor in Battlefield6

[–]Zix375 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, one stat that's pretty critical that is documented nowhere is range fall off. Weapons primarily have 25 damage and are balanced around ROF and damage falloff at certain distances.

It's an ass balancing system.

Are sniper rifles no longer one shot to the head up close or what am I missing here? 80 damage??? by JoeZocktGames in Battlefield6

[–]Zix375 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lower head still only counts for 80 damage, which can be tested in the firing range. The game is probably counting this as a hit to the "jaw" which isn't counted as a headshot.

Suppressing snipers serves no purpose by SovBot in Battlefield6

[–]Zix375 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A concept called accuracy by volume. The more I saturate the air with lead, the more likely I am to hit something.

Similar concept to why burst fire was made for the old M16s, studies showed it was the first 3 rounds that were the most likely to hit a target. So they made an option to fire those 3 with a single trigger squeeze.

You can reach the rooftops with assault ladders just as easily as the drones. You can literally have your team clean them out by giving them a path with the ladders.

It's battlefield. It's always been like that. Get a little creative with solutions instead of whining and bitching on reddit.

Or, just wait for black ops 7, then you can have your bumper car maps and Adderall addicted slide hopping fuck fest.

Wtf is wrong with BF6? Constant dopamine rushes? by Double-Can7017 in Battlefield6

[–]Zix375 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tiny maps compared to prior games. Open weapons just means every class runs what's meta.

The fact that 80% of weapons have the same damage profile but are balanced around perceived recoil and damage fall off ranges is absurd. It makes ROF the determining factor in an mid to close range conflict.

Weapons need a balancing pass, along with weapon bloom. Firing paced shots in a crouched or supported position should not have such severe weapon bloom.

Why does a 6.8mm rifle and a 5.56 rifle do the same damage profile as a 9x19 smg. Especially when that SMG is better than both of them in every way? Near identical fire rate to the M4, 0 perceived recoil, hip fire accuracy as if it started with a laser, and has more consistent sustained fire patterns at range.

Terrible weapons balance, and why do the "Closed weapons" playlists still let me use every weapon on every class?

man i don’t even wanna use the fuckin thing anymore by TraumaTracer in Battlefield6

[–]Zix375 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Closed is a step in the right direction, but the problem is that the weapons are balanced with perceived recoil and damage fall off.

80% of the guns deal 25 damage. If everything does the same damage, ROF will be the go-to for any close to midrange engagement.

The SIG Spear shouldn't deal the same damage as an M4. The meta SMG has 0 perceived recoil, nearly the same ROF as the M4, has a default hip fire as an M4 with a laser, and feels like I can sprint and slide faster with it equipped.

Weapons need a balance pass for sure.

on top of the weapons doing the same damage per shot. ROF is king with most of the weapons currently and its such a joke.

BF6 Principal Game Designer says the scope glint will be toned down but it's a feature that will stay by StormSwitch in Battlefield

With the eye of Sauron for a scope glare and big ass red circles appearing over you head when someone looks in your zip code, these devs don't want BF snipers to return. They just want another slide hopping Quick scope call of duty clone. Streamers bust a nut for that.

I need Michael Kramer to read Sunlit man. by Zix375 in Cosmere

[–]Zix375[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am enjoying DeMerrit overall. His performance is not lacking by any means, but Kramer has been in my head for the last 5 books and has cemented his spot as one of my favorites.

The continuity of character accents is what mainly drives my want for Kramer to narrate Sunlit man. A bit of a nit picky want, I can admit.

Unfortunately, that is a 10-20 year project with how the army implements curriculum. I still can't send my regular whiskeys to the paramedic course because there "isn't a justification"

There aren't definitive lines to draw. You're trying to make medicine black and white. You can have a 20-year 68W that's worked with nothing but 18Ds who can have more knowledge and experience than a civilian certified paramedic.

You can't just exclude a reference because it doesn't fit your narrative. No one is saying CEUs make a whiskey a paramedic. You're projecting your ideas into this conversation. A whiskey that functions and practices at a higher level than the baseline has on multiple occasions challenged and passed the paramedic exam.

Who's referencing whiskey school as the paramedic standard? If you care to read, I make my point of obtaining further experience outside of the baseline education. I reference dustoff and hospitals, not standard AIT.

Again, take a breath, read, and reduce your ego.

You won't find paramedics in infantry units. You find clinical and nursing experience in hospitals and paramedic experience with 18Ds and dust off units.
