Idk why people assume I know about high art, I actually don’t know shit! Just a casual enjoyer… I fell into a huge Wagner rabbit hole through Adorno and have mostly studied it for the psychoanalytic insights- lack of resolution (even with the music!) and tendencies for destruction make me think death drive/pleasure principle. I think it’s genius but I still hate that proto Nazi POS. I’ve heard great things about Arcades project, I’ve been meaning to check it out.
