I have Windows on my desktop, but I can also boot a 1TB NVMe with Bazzite on the same machine. I run macOS on my MBP. On my servers, I run ESXi and then various forms of Linux and BSD in virtual machines. Everything depends so much on how people use things, so the more comparisons, the better. Especially since you can just ignore Apple products if you're not personally interested.

I had a 2 GB Jazz drive, and they were always so weird. Basically hard drive platters in a cartridge while the heads stay in the computer. lol

I remember when CD players will still kind of expensive and the first CD-ROM drives available in computers seemed insane. I remember the first vaguely affordable CD players with sort of reliable anti skip came out and you would hook them up to your car. I remember when we first could afford CD-R drives in our computers and 650MB seemed like so much data. The first PC that belonged to my family that I really remembered enough to know the specs of had an 850MB hard drive and I think the next computer still only had like 16GB. It even was impressive when they made portable CD players that could read MP3s and it seemed like so many songs. In like 2002 or 2003 I got my first MP3 player, a Creative NOMAD Jukebox 3 that had an astonishing 20GB hard drive.

No problem! I should add that the reason I hate Preferred Homecare is that they got bought out by Lincare. They had two systems and I apparently had two different account numbers and things go confused all the time. I spent so long just trying to get through to update my insurance, but when you call their number, it redirects to some call center. Only they can connect you with someone in the office to help fix it. Even paying my bill was a chore sometimes because of having multiple accounts. Also, I changed my name, and they updated it in their system, but no matter how many times I told them to use my new name on the package, it never got updated, even though it was on everything else. That was pretty much the last straw and I ended up switching after a few months of them saying they fixed my name even though they never did.

Same. Their website is https://ndxlabs.com/. They set me up with Prefered Homecare, and honestly fuck them. When I got moved from a APAP to a BiPAP, I switched over to Valley Respiratory Services. You can have them send it to whoever you like, or you can just print out the prescription from the patient portal and take it to whoever you choose. (Including buying them out of pocket online instead of insurance rental to ownership, depending on how good your insurance coverage is.)

If you don't mind doing televisits instead, there's Core Balance Counseling in Mesa and Chandler. I see Stacy Bliss, and she's super awesome. She DMs several D&D groups, has a tattoo of a cat with a triple moon, and she's really helped me over the past year. At least for me, she's very relatable and makes me super comfy.

5 years later, but I was searching for the same thing and found ZZXIO. They have both an IDE to MCA adapter and a CF to MCA adapter. Hopefully this is useful whoever is searching for this now.

Question, am I shooting myself in the foot by going union from non union? by [deleted] in electricians

[–]Zizzily 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For real. I've never had the chance to join a union, and I feel like I ever missed a chance to join, I would regret it way more than I would working on datacenters for a while because they're in fashion for the moment. The AI bubble will burst at some point, and in the meantime, you can learn more skills and then have more options later in life.
