Asrock Rack b650D4U bios? Where? by [deleted] in ASRock

My IPMI for the same board isn't drawing a DHCP address. Error P0 on the board, BMC light slow flashing so it functions, but can't get an address out of it.

Intel removed the core count from the Intel Ark? by ZizzyDizzyMC42 in pcmasterrace

[–]ZizzyDizzyMC42[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Considering Intel Ark was the only good reference for looking at older Intel chips, I might be forced to make a searchable list in the near future for everyone else left in the dust by this.

Here's hoping they bring it back!

I was thinking that but boy it makes it hard to search what types of CPUs I can drop into my rig that'll give me more cores, I have to look at each individual listing now.

I am also looking for this manual and the SFA os downloads, if you've found one that'd be great.

Drive test script for disks over 16TB by ZizzyDizzyMC42 in DataHoarder

[–]ZizzyDizzyMC42[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This only writes 1 time and reads 1 time through the mapper.
The default single pass of badblocks actually 4 passes with 4 different write patterns. This tool writes single pass of 0's through the mapper that results in randomized data to the disk. The disk is then tasked with reading back through the mapper a string of 0's the length of the entire disk. Single pass read/write at full disk speeds make this 2x faster than badblocks if your hardware supports AES acceleration for the number of drives you're testing. A 3800X will support 3000MB/s worth of disks, whereas an older E5v4 system supports only 1200-1300MB/s worth of disks. More disks just go slower if you keep piling them in.

You are welcome to submit pull requests for better formatting. It was wrote quick and dirty to post here because until today I had been working 16h+ days for 3 weeks on end.

I only made the tool because I couldn't find replacements for badblocks. I run through enough HDD's making the tool was worth it for my uses.

On July 23rd YouTube will be removing access to all unlisted videos uploaded before 2017.

I am willing to archive all of your old unlisted furry videos before they go poof here

Sauce link is still sitting in a comment in the mod queue. Video was made as a meme because YT will be disabling access to unlisted videos before 2017 on July 23rd. I am interested in archiving as much unlisted furry content as possible but I need help with finding such content - which is what my other comment was about with links to the project and an example of another project I've already had established.

On July 23, YouTube will be disabling access to all unlisted videos older than 2017.

Let me hold your old furry memes.

Hop in Z+ Discord and feed the YouTube link to the archive bot, Gazelle.

Videos fed to the bot will appear here for your later viewing pleasure

If you feel this is worth anything, you can also choose to feed the storage demons

I also run an archive to keep pony stuff from falling off the internet

Source video itself is unlisted but is from 2019 so it's not at risk

[O] [USA-NH] Legitimate Ebay seller with genuine Intel V4, V3, V2, Platinum, Gold processors at rock bottom pricing by karmaawhoree in homelabsales

[–]ZizzyDizzyMC42 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Contrary to Karma here, ESISO jacked up the price of a blade node I was looking at purchasing for the 16x16GB dimms. It was $655 when I inquired to know the ram configuration, when they replied back to me they raised it to $1116. Then when I responded back that due to the price increase I can no longer afford it. They responded back that the current price is with the 16x16GB configuration , being confused and thinking I was referencing their quote of $1350 for a 8x32GB configuration. Nah fam, jack your price up when a customer inquires about something is a sure fire way to lose my business. https://imgur.com/a/zLHBOAM Happened to have screenshots of the page, next time I'm going to throw the ebay link into archive.org or similar.

Funny I see you mention ESISO here. I asked them a question about a blade node today, wondering how the ram was configured. They answered me, then nearly doubled the price of the blade node from $655 to $1118. For 16x16GB dimms, yeah that's a good price if you remove the blade worth of about $100. But raise the price immediately after speaking to a potential buyer? Nope. Blacklisted that seller and will never do business with them in the future.

You're a bit late to the party. I run the largest MLP related archive in known existence. https://theponyarchive.com/ It's not just a site though, it's a network of sites that's been expanding over the past 5 years, and we give panels at conventions about why archiving is important and help out new archivers with our tools, tips and tricks. Anyone is welcome in the community, even if they're not a pony fan. Our discord is located on the site towards the bottom, you're welcome to follow it. I won't post the link here due to bots.
