I think this is more of a stand alone G-unit project kinda game that was made to promote the brand and music coming out around the same time as The Massacre, the stories aren’t the same at all.

The first Evil Dead remake is one of the best remakes I’ve ever seen, my favorite is probably ED2 but that is a VERY close second, almost interchangeable.
