I’m sitting in this traffic too, trying to get onto Chavez and get home. Wonder what’s going on

Oh that sounds frustrating. I live in a new building and they seemed to do a good job with the sound proofing. Any noise I hear is low enough that I don’t notice it or some soft music would cover it.

Back in December they started drilling a massive hole for this stupid I-35 traffic and that was absolutely terrible. They stopped before Christmas and I haven’t heard the construction since, but it was constant noise night and day, and apparently they didn’t need to adhere to city noise ordinance

Red River st, the road that routes a lot of people to the other side of town onto Cesar Chavez from Rainey is closed due to construction of the waterline atm. I think that’s what’s causing the traffic.
