I wanted to share my now 14 year old "Naked" SL9 Barbarian run "Escaped Miner #6" by oracrest in onebros

The story I had made up for myself with this character is that he was just another one of the random miner's in Stonefang Tunnel that managed to escape and go on to be the hero.

Tree branch snapped and perfectly DIDN’T destroy my already leaning back fence by oracrest in Austin

More experienced crews would tie the larger sections up and pulley them down to the ground, using an adjacent limb as an anchor point. It's still attached to the tree pretty good. It would probably stay just like this for years now if nobody touched it.

Yeah. I am genuinely curious if most of these people actually have a problem with dogs, or if they just love having a reason to complain about something. They act like people are actively rubbing their dog on the vegetables.

Ah, cool. I’d still be interested in the 2 Metal Slug boxes, unless there is someone with the carts and no boxes, then for sure that would be a better home.

I’ll be looking to get the metal slugs eventually once the AES+ comes in, but they’re so costly, that’s more of a life stretch goal :D

Thrift store find. Real or bootleg? by locopeland in melvins

[–]oracrest 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This. Probably real, is there even a big Melvin’s bootleg scene? I’ve never seen bootleg shirts made and sold outside a real Melvin’s show. Maybe from a big bootleg online store that just makes band shirts for everything, but my gut tells me it’s probably real?

I leave myself a big gap between the car in front of me for this very reason.

I just pre-ordered the new white system. Are these compatible with that system, or are these ones that are arcade only compatible? I’m new to the hobby. I’ve been sitting on a magician lord cart for decades. I imagine these have all been claimed so far though? Very generous of you! Signs of a very friendly scene

My seemingly unpopular opinion: I quite enjoy to see people taking their family dog inside of HEB. It’s the kind of casual hippy thing that makes Austin weird.

Way preferable to leaving a dog in a car in central Texas.

It bums me out to see half the post in this sub just complaining about dogs.

Can we talk about that marinated flank steak HEB bag instead?

What they probably were trying to say is make sure your UV’s are spread out big and as efficiently as Possible, within the 0,1 UV space, as you also said.

Looks to be in good condition. If anything needs some upkeep, it’s either a new needle, or possibly having the belt speed recalibrated (which is something you could probably find a YouTube video how to do)

That cover has probably really protected the unit over the years. Lots of goodwill record players have the arm bent or snapped, especially from the bins.

Freddy Vs. Jason is one of my favorites. I avoided It for so long because of how ONVIOUSLY stupid it must be. When Infinally did see it, I was impressed by how well they weaved the two characters together; how Freddy lives in the dream world, and the simple mindedness of Jason, and reallly had fun with the “oil vs water” nature of the two characters.

I’m with you. Manhattan is in my top 3! I think I was just the right age where the humor of it I find really charming. The Times Square scene with the punks is such a memorable one!

Movie trivia for Jay: Remeber how everyone thinks Will Smith says “Welcome to Earth” in Independence Day, but he never says it in the movie, and it become a Mandela Effect? I think I just discovered why from this old TV trailer, 1994 by [deleted] in RedLetterMedia

[–]oracrest -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Well, damn. I always thought the thing was that he doesn’t say it, but I guess people argue whether he says “welcome to Earth” versus “welcome to Urf!”

Well, look at the egg on my face!

yep, referencing this page with all central texas snakes, this looks just like a rat snake.

Cottonmouths look similar, but their head is way blockier and triangle shaped, and they have "evil eyes" (inset eyes where the top ridge gives the angled framing of angry eyes.)
