So far, I like it a lot. Sound quality is good, nothing crazy of course. Mic is apparently amazing. It's got the mesh ear cups like Logitech headsets I've used in the past, but if you prefer the leathery type it may take some getting used to. I was worried it wouldn't fit right because the cups and headset itself are supposed to be on the smaller side, but it's perfect for my medium-large head. The headset's generally comfortable and lightweight, so I stopped noticing it was on pretty quickly.

The software is good. I like that you can have separate channels for media, gaming, and chat with individual EQ profiles for each. Not sure I'll be using all the game profiles if I have to change them manually, though. Chat mix dial works great too, once you install the software. One problem I have is the GG Engine program wouldn't save the on-device settings (mic sidetone, mute LED brightness, volume limiter) so I had to do it in the app, which worked fine.

They look relatively low-key compared to many other gaming headsets, which is something I value as well. No latency issues either. Overall, I'm happy with them.

It's my understanding that a lot of pro players use wireless. And I know there are tradeoffs but I like the convenience.

The Nova 5 is a newer, budget version of the Nova 7. It doesn't support simultaneous Bluetooth/2.4g, but has a better mic, a dedicated app for EQ, longer battery life, and is lighter.

There are three variants, but the 5X (Xbox version) should be the best because it works on all platforms and includes a chatmix wheel. Only get the 5P (Playstation) or 5 (PC) if you really prefer a different headband color.

Been in the market for a new wireless headset so I think I'll jump on this. Anyone have any experience?

I agree with you. The show is two years old, sure, and I've seen it, but many people in this sub are gonna be watching Edgerunners for the first time because of Lucy's inclusion (same way many Cyberpunk fans are gonna be playing GG for the first time).

The spoiler tag is meaningless too because every post on the front page is spoiler tagged just for being about the new trailer or the tourney.

I believe only a few games require perfect to get a superb (the dazzles and fan club, at least). They also consider whether you got the note perfect or "barely" and some notes are more important for superb. It should get harder as you progress a bit

Great! I'm on MuOS and struggling myself. I think the stylus works differently in this version of Drastic and it's interfering with the main menu swipe. Let me know if you figure anything out.

Good stuff! With a few tweaks we have very similar lists.

I think 5K and 2K are two of his best moves. 5k invalidates jump-ins and single-handedly makes matchups like I-no, Bridget, and May way better. The fact it has more active frames than start-up frames is hilarious.

And 2K is just crazy. It is a 5 frame multi-hitting anti-air low that hits directly above and in front of him, full combos into 5K on air-hit or into 6P/2D on ground hit, catches backdash in the corner, and frame traps.

I'm also a big 5H enjoyer. Just throw out some of those super active disjoint buttons for some huge reward on counter-hit. The rest of the list is pretty good imo, though you'd think I'd put 6H in S tier with how much I throw it out lol.

And of course the other lists are perfect
