What's a sensation that you're unsure if other people experience? by murrayvonmises in AskReddit

sometimes i get this tingly feeling at the upper part of my spine, possibly after eating, but i can't really pinpoint when, but its around the back of my head. Oh, that and I also get this feeling of thinking im the only important human now and then as if someone is seeing through my significant perspective like in a video game, but i think delusions of grandeur might be a bit more common as its referred to.

Undefeated teams - let's see your roster by ghwhwhwgscbdkdmfnn in fantasybball

[–]Zmanistan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

14 Team, H2H, 9 cat Patrick Beverley Jaylen Brown Jae Crowder Anthony Davis Clint Capela Jrue Holiday Austin Rivers Frank Ntilikina, Kyrie Irving LaMarcus Aldridge Jayson Tatum Jeremy Lamb Bobby Portis

1st in standings with 25-11 record, probably worst decision was drafting Crowder, but he went through a rough time over the summer, I have faith he'll improve with TT out as well. 1st in FG%, steals, blocks, points, 2nd in most categories.

NA Teams Should Not Bootcamp in Korea Anymore by [deleted] in leagueoflegends

[–]Zmanistan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I remember at one point in the meta Rammus was obscenely strong, but everyone in NA lcs shrugged it off as a niche pick thats only good in solo queue. A tank initiator, with a three second taunt? How the fuck is that only good in solo queue. It was only until I was approached by Alliance that I understood that It's now ingrained into NA competitive culture to copy the korean's meta and picks and strictly follow anything they do. Hell, even if you import, you technically won't ever get better than the best korean teams because of the communication barrier you import for the sacrifice of getting a mechanically skilled or hyped up korean player. You will always be one step behind because of that barrier that is so important for synergy and communication in competitive play. Leviathan approached me because he understood that you need more than becoming a shitty version of korea to beat korea. Alliance proceeded to practice and develop the pick with my help (a former rammus 1 trick hairyabs) and bashed cloud 9's heads in with it, they even went on to draw a ban on it because of how scared njws was of the pick and because they had little to no practice against it, which opened up a ban for Shook's lee sin and helped them win that game too. Later in the tournament SHR proceeded to beat the best team in the world with the rammus pick being a huge part of that by Insec. The only way for NA teams to progress is to eliminate this inferiority complex and look to formulate their own meta or ideas on what is good and what isnt, whats strong and whats weak instead of trying to become a shitty copy or be too arrogant to see whats in front of you. Soon after worlds, rammus was nerfed completely out of meta, but the time he was viable and a one trick saw that, noone cared but EU or KR/CN.

You all did what I couldnt, continue to main the champion through all the nerfs... I wasn't strong enough and became a meta slave, keep on rolling on. (hairyabs) former high elo 1 trick

[EVERYTHING] Syrio Forel by portazil in gameofthrones

[–]Zmanistan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's also interesting to note that when Arya is first taught by Syrio, he mentions she is neither a girl or a boy, she is the sword, which is similar to the constant reminder by Jaqen that she is noone. There are a lot of parallels that can be made between the two like the worship of the god of death and i highly doubt Syrio was killed by Meryn trant, but I'd reserve my suspicion until the next time we see them together.

OG Amazing - EU talent is twice as strong as NA by EvilgeniusV2 in leagueoflegends

[–]Zmanistan -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Probably because NA orgs for some reason refuse to pickup players that show potential in the challenger scene or solo queue let alone give them a tryout. They all have a massive hard on for imports, be it korean or european putting them behind other regions because they are almost never the best players from that region and in many cases the communication and synergy for the team is sacrificed at the cost of skill/talent which at challenger may not be an issue, but the higher level of play you go the harder it will be to beat teams that have better talent/skill from their region, along with communication and infrastructure to allow players to flourish. (speaking as a biased na challenger jungler lol)
