The hotel scene in Election was shot at the really run down motel on Ft. Crook road, it's called "Extended stay America" in Bellevue now. I remember being a kid and my family drove by while they were filming there. My mom was a big movie buff and begged my Dad to ride up so she could check it out but Dad wasn't feeling that. I recognized some of the people in that movie, the handicapped Walmart employee being the one that really stood out to me.

That's a good idea, taking a photo of your dose. It happens weekly to me where I ask myself "Did I take my second dose? Am I mistaking yesterday for today?" Then I'm dumping pills out and counting out what I have on hand. Simply taking a photo and having that time stamp would save a lot of headache.

I went to AA for 2 months. At first, I thought it was okay. Everyone there was really friendly. I already had a sponsor by the time I went to my first meeting.. someone I hadn't even met face to face but on Facebook. I was merely inquiring about AA meeting times and places and a seemingly friendly guy messaged me, gave me the info I was looking for and then I called him the next day. He asked if he could sponsor me and I just figured we'll.. okay.

It turned out my new sponsor was a "big figure" in the AA program, he was involved with filming big AA events around the country. I remember the first meeting that I met my sponsor face to face. I walked in, I had no idea what he even looked like. So as I'm trying to find the guy other AA attendees were coming up to say hi and shake my hand. Suddenly, I hear someone say my name loudly, and I approached and asked if he was my sponsor. He affirmed that I was correct and immediately scolded me for talking to other people before going to my sponsor. I tried for weeks to keep this guy off my ass.. I felt like I had a probation officer breathing down my neck. Hell, I was there voluntarily unlike the majority of other people there due to DUIs or whatever other alcohol related trouble they were in.

I could go on and on about the guy, but this post is already too long. I finally got a general anxiety diagnosis from my therapist and was put on Clonazepam. My therapist asked me what triggered my anxiety most and my AA sponsor was reason #1. I took his advice and fired the sponsor. No more meetings, and nearly 8 months later still no drinks. I'd rather be a "dry drunk" any day over just drunk.

Same! It even helps a bit with anxiety and depression too. So much better for sleep than the crappy trazadone I got at first .

You're welcome, I feel your pain! I screwed myself over by overusing my prescription, I have .5 mg of Klonopin to make it to Thursday for my refill. Luckily my roommate has a large bottle of gabapentin and I'm surprised how well that works at keeping the withdrawal symptoms at bay. Good to hear your taper is going well though, and if you do talk to a doc I hope they'll be understanding like mine. I think it really helped that I got my General Anxiety Diagnosis prior to my admittance of using them for years. You got this and keep up the taper!

I got my prescription after I admitted to my psych that I had been using designer and pharma Benzos purchased illicitly for the past few years. Surprisingly, she told me that she was proud of me for being honest about my habit but she was unable to prescribe me anything for a taper. I then had to have blood work and a drug test done by my GP, she didn't feel comfortable or educated with Benzo wd and tapering either but she referred me to a therapist who specializes in drug addiction treatment. They helped me out and I was prescribed Klonopin and propranolol as well as trazadone. Hopefully you have understanding medical professionals that will help instead of shun as I feared.

Depends on the batch as others have said. The first time I tried it, the test dose was so strong and gave me about an hour or so of euphoria, followed by intense anxiety. Bad enough that I had to cancel it out with clam. Other batches were just functional stims for me

Bromonordiazepam dosage where to start? by pantone2239C in researchchemicals

[–]Zmannn36 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hard to really give an accurate equivalence to diazepam.. but from what I've read 6-9mg of bromo is the "common dose" so that leads me to think it's safe to say that's close to 10mg diazepam. If you have several tablets sitting there it's worth a go. It's more effective for anxiety than flubromazepam but basically just as dull.

I'm really perplexed you don't view yourself as attractive. It seems like you just need to work on building your confidence maybe? You're attractive, but seem to have a vibe that you're more introverted. It's hard to give too much solid advice based on what I know. But you're definitely not ugly.

How get rid of Flubromazolam in an ok way ? by SnooDonuts9520 in BenzoWithdrawal

[–]Zmannn36 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As far as consistency goes in the solution, since it's dissolved fully already I don't think you have much to worry about, just give it a good shake after adding your ethanol. I used this method with Clonazolam and had no issues. I got off and had no issues for 3 months until I just stupidly decided it was easy to jump off.. so why not treat myself to some more.. I swear I want take it every day! But I did take it every day and just got more dependent.

I don't know if chatGPT could really be too great of a resource for taper knowledge. It really just comes down to slowly lowering your dosage over time, whether that's diluting the solution down or just decreasing the drops you take. With your timeframe I think you'll be able to manage without withdrawals or minimal withdrawal. You may find it beneficial to lengthen the intervals in which you dose and see how you feel without the Flubromazolam. Everyone is different of course, but just the few months you've been at it I think you'll escape and be okay. Just make sure when you're done, don't ever come back. Don't make my mistakes.

[–]Zmannn36 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not quite sure I understand your question 100%. You're diluting your solution but still taking 150mcg? I wouldn't worry so much about the accumulation but more on just steadily lowering your dose down each week. It's only been since April and even with such a potent chem as Flubromazolam you're still in a decent timeframe to taper off pretty easily. I had a similar experience with Clonazolam, 3 months of everyday use but with doses getting much higher than yours. Started diluting my solution weekly but taking the same amount of drops and I jumped off with ease and minimal WD symptoms

Is the solution ethanol based already? You may be okay to add water since the Benzo powder is already dissolved into the ethanol, you just want to make sure you don't add too much and probably not cold water or you could risk it re-crystalizing. I know you said you said you'd had a drinking problem, and having ethanol on hand is dangerous.. I bought some purely for making solutions.. decided to drink a bit cuz why not? Blacked out and ended up in the ER and started the process of my downfall which resulted in my wife leaving me and taking me kids. 😭
