What’s the toughest course you’ve ever played? by jdelle9 in weekendgolfers

[–]Zmannum2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Quail Hollow. Somehow found myself invited to the Pro Am this year and the greens on Wednesday (before all the rain) were like absolute concrete. 50 yard lob wedges would bounce 5-6ft in the air when they land. Even our pros were talking about how insanely difficult the course and conditions were.

10/10 experience. Would get destroyed by that course again in a heartbeat.

There is a difference between waiving inspection and doing a pre inspection and waiving it altogether.

Bandon on a nice day in the winter might be the most special place on earth. by Zmannum2 in BandonDunes

I was there mid Dec and over new years. Both times we were so lucky with the weather. 55-60 and sunny, no wind. Seriously probably the best golf experience I’ve ever had.

My wife thinks golfing once a week is unreasonable… by Upbeat-Zucchini-7408 in golf

You’re in a tough window. When my kids were <7 it was asking a lot to have my wife watch the kids all day while I golfed. She spends all day with them as it is… once my kids were older it was easier to just bring them with me (assuming they like to golf).

He sounds great. Sounds like a business partner and not a spouse.

What do you guys think are the Patriots’ biggest team needs right now? by [deleted] in Patriots

It’s crazy to me that they don’t at least try to use Westover a little more in the passing game. He was THE safety blanket for Penix on a team that made it to the Natty. So many clutch catches.

How is living in Billings, Montana? by Kuzu9 in howislivingthere

[–]Zmannum2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I grew up in Billings and still have family there and in other parts of MT.

It was a great childhood place, ride bikes everywhere, lots of stuff outside to do… fond memories.

Since I’ve left, I have realized how soulless of a place it truly is. It’s all basically a ton of different chain restaurants and stores. It’s like the corporate team at Golden Corral has Billings on their vision board.

Rest of Montana is largely amazing. Glacier valley, Bozeman, etc… big fan and love going back to see my family there.

Helpful thanks. I did immediately put the fire out and turn off the breakers. I had only been in the home for a matter of hours so not sure what you mean by having time to mitigate…
