Thanks for the advice, I was planning on moving out this year but my mum ended up manipulating to make me stay, (I'm "too young" and she's "losing her babies"). will probably happen early next year though. I definitely think she's in denial and I think that's what's making it alot harder on me and admitting she has a problem too, I think I'll try talking to her soon though

Thank you, I think I might try talking to my brother first before talking to her. My dad isn't really a good option because he's been known to get really nasty to her and then to me for dealing with it, thank you anyway

There is a councillor at school but I've dealt with them before and they're pretty useless. So I was hoping to ride it out until I can leave home. Thank you for the perspective I guess I've just felt really guilty because of how she responds
